The Eagleman Stag is a 2011 British 9-minute-long stop motion animated film directed by Michael Please. [1] [2] It is a darkly comic take on a man's obsession with the quickening perception of time that faces us as we age and his attempts to counter this effect. It won the BAFTA for the Best Short Animation (2011). [3] [4] [5]
The score was composed for a string section by Ben Please and was recorded by Beth Porter, Emma Hooper and Ian Vorley. Ben also played harpsichord on the recordings and produced the sound design for the film. The voice of Peter Eagleman, the main character in the animation, was performed by actor David Cann. [6]

Richard Baneham is an Irish animator and visual effects supervisor, who has worked on several film series, including The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, the Chronicles of Narnia films and the Avatar franchise. Amongst other awards, Baneham has received a BAFTA Award for Best Special Visual Effects and an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in 2009, both for his work on Avatar, and a further Academy Award in 2023, for visual effects on Avatar: The Way of Water.

Peter Hans Docter is an American filmmaker and animator, who has served as chief creative officer (CCO) of Pixar since 2018. He has directed the company's animated films Monsters, Inc. (2001), Up (2009), Inside Out (2015), and Soul (2020). From his nine Academy Award nominations, he is a record-three time recipient of Best Animated Feature for Up, Inside Out and Soul. Docter has also won six Annie Awards from nine nominations, a BAFTA Children's Film Award and a Hochi Film Award. He describes himself as a "geeky kid from Minnesota who likes to draw cartoons".
Ainslie Thomas Henderson is a Scottish animator and singer-songwriter. He gained fame via his participation in the BBC's television programme, Fame Academy, in 2002. He signed a recording contract with Mercury Records after leaving the show, having been placed fourth. His subsequent single, "Keep Me a Secret", written alongside fellow contestants in Fame Academy, reached the fifth position on the UK Singles Chart.
