Eric's Trip is a Canadian indie rock band from Moncton, New Brunswick. Eric's Trip achieved prominence as the first Canadian band to be signed to Seattle's flagship grunge label Sub Pop in the early 1990s. The band had a minor hit in alternative circles with the single "View Master", from the 1994 album Forever Again.

Initially a trio of guitar, bass, and drums performing in an identifiable post-punk style, the band soon pioneered a dynamic use of digital sampling in addition to standard rock instruments. In the years following 1997, the band had breaks in activity with some members pursuing other musical projects and with the band sporadically touring in the years after. However, in recent years they have continued to tour on a consistent basis and have stated interest in recording new material. The band has released and reissued some of their material on Bandcamp.

Joe Piripitzi is an Australian rock musician. He was the founding drummer of the rockabilly band, The Living End, from 1994 to 1996; which formed in Melbourne with Chris Cheney on lead guitar and lead vocals, and Scott Owen on double bass and backing vocals. Cheney considered Piripitzi to be ideal due to his charismatic appearance. Piripitzi is recorded on their first two extended plays, Hellbound (1995) and It's for Your Own Good.

World Domination Recordings was an indie rock record label founded by bass player and music entrepreneur Dave Allen in Los Angeles. From roughly 1989 to 1996 it released records by artists including Low Pop Suicide, The Elastic Purejoy, Stanford Prison Experiment, Perfume Tree, Latimer, Sky Cries Mary, Loop Guru, Sugar Plant, Contagion, and Noah Stone, and published a zine with essays by Allen and design by Ophelia Chong, called Clutter.
