The songs recorded for and broadcast on Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra are still considered to be the best of Bangladeshi protest songs.

Jaago is a 2010 Bangladeshi sports drama film written and directed by Khijir Hayat Khan. The film features Ferdous and Bindu in lead roles and with supporting Arifin Shuvoo, Sharlin Farzana, Tariq Anam Khan, Rawnak Hasan, FS Nayeem and many more. It claims to be the first Bangladeshi film based entirely on football or any other sports. The story of Jaago is said to be inspired by the Shadhin Bangla football team, who raised funds during the Liberation War (1971) through charity matches and lifted the morale of the freedom fighters.
Gazi Mazharul Anwar was a Bangladeshi film director, producer, lyricist, screenwriter and music director. He earned the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Lyricist a record seven times for the films Tit for Tat (1992), Ajante (1996), Churiwala (2001), Lal Dariya (2002), Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti (2003), Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe (2016) and Joiboti Konyar Mon (2021). He worked as a lyricist in the "Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra". He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2002 and Independence Day Award in 2021 by the government of Bangladesh. He has penned lyrics for 267 films.
Shonkhonil Karagar is a 1992 Bangladeshi Bengali-language film directed by Mustafizur Rahman. This film is based on the novel of prominent Bangladeshi writer Humayun Ahmed.
Danga (transl. riot) is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language action drama film written and directed by Kazi Hayat. It stars Manna, Suchorita, Wasimul Bari Rajib, Anowara and Mizu Ahmed in lead roles. The film was released in 1991.
Dui Jibon is a 1988 Bangladeshi drama film directed by Abdullah al Mamun, who also wrote the story. The screenplay and dialogue is written by Jahirul Haque. The film stars Bulbul Ahmed, Kabori Sarwar, Afzal Hossain, Parveen Sultana Diti in leading roles with Neepa Monalisa, Tina Khan, Jahirul Haque, Adil, Amol Bose, Minu Rahman Minoti in supporting roles. Jadur Bashi is a 1977 Bengali romantic film directed by Abdul Latif Bachchu. Story, screenplay and dialogue written by Ahmed Zaman Chowdhury. Apu Sarwar has played the main character in the film. Along with Suchorita, Razzak, Bulbul Ahmed, ATM Shamsuzzaman in the supporting roles. The film won the Bangladesh National Film Awards in three categories.
Bir is a 2020 Bangladeshi political action-drama film written and directed by Kazi Hayat. It features Shakib Khan and Shabnom Bubly in the lead roles. It is co-produced by Shakib Khan and Mohammad Iqbal under the banner of SK Films.
Mahanayak is a 1985 drama film written and directed by Alamgir Kabir. The film is based on the love story of an unemployed youth. Bulbul Ahmed played the main character. Other characters include Kajori, Julia, Rina Khan, Shawkat Akbar, Ahmed Sharif and others.
Mayer Dabi is a 1986 Bangladeshi drama film directed by Awkat Hossain. Starring Bulbul Ahmed, Selina, Rosy Afsari, Prabir Mitra, Black Anwar and others. The film earned Best Child Artist Award at the 11th Bangladesh National Film Awards. It is one of the fewest Bangladeshi films made on mother alongside Mayer Kanna (1986), Mayer Morjada, Mayer Ashirbad (1993), Hangor Nodi Grenade (1997), Ammajan (1999), Matritto (2003) etc.
Sakkhi Proman is a Bangladeshi film directed by Belal Ahmed. Manna, Sathi, Sabrina and Amit Hasan are in lead roles.
Ananta Bhalobasha is a 1999 Bangladeshi romantic action film. The film directed and screenplay by Sohanur Rahman Sohan and Produced by Kuddusur Rahman under the banner of SP Production. The story and dialogues of the film are written by Abu Saeed Khan and Henry Amin respectively. The film stars Shakib Khan and Erin Zaman played the lead roles in the film. 'Jonmo Amar Dhonno Holo Maago' Is a patriotic song composed in 1970 in the Bengali language. The lyrics of this song was composed by Noyeem Gahar and the tune was written by Azad Rahman. This song is in the genre “Jagorner Gaan”(lit.“Songs of Awekaning”) which was prevalent during the Bangladesh Liberation war. This song Personifies Bengal as a Mother; And shows themes of nationalism and patriotism. After Bangladesh’s independence this song gains popularity with the singing of Sabina Yasmin.
