Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters [1] is an Americana band based in Asheville, North Carolina in the United States.
The Honeycutters was founded in 2007 by Amanda Anne Platt and former guitarist Peter James based around Platt's songwriting. [2] Originally called the Bee's Knees, [3] the band derived its current name from a Tow truck company in Asheville, NC. [4] They released their first studio album, Irene, in 2009, followed by When Bitter Met Sweet in 2012. [5] In 2015, The Honeycutters signed with Organic Records and released their third full-length studio album, Me Oh My. [6] Their album, On The Ropes, was released in 2016 [7] and a self-titled album was released on June 9, 2017. [8] On May 24, 2019, the band released a live album, Live at the Grey Eagle. The band has performed throughout the United States, Canada, The Netherlands, Germany, and the UK, including the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Rochester International Jazz Festival, Folk Alliance International, AmericanaFest, MerleFest, and Mountain Stage. In 2016, they were featured on NPR's World Cafe: Sense of Place Asheville. [9]

Mark Erelli is an American singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and touring folk musician from Reading, Massachusetts who earned a master's degree in evolutionary biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before pursuing a career in music. Erelli has released nine solo albums and three collaborative albums. His self-titled debut album was released in 1999, the same year that he won the Kerrville Folk Festival's New Folk Award. His first recording for the Signature Sounds label, Compass & Companion, spent ten weeks in the Top Ten on the Americana Chart. Erelli has worked as a side musician for singer songwriters Lori McKenna and Josh Ritter. He has performed at various music festivals and shared the stage with John Hiatt, Dave Alvin, and Gillian Welch. Erelli's song “People Look Around”, which he co-wrote with Catie Curtis, was the Grand Prize winner at the 2005 International Songwriting Competition. His songs have been recorded by Ellis Paul, Vance Gilbert, Antje Duvekot, and Red Molly.

Steep Canyon Rangers is an American bluegrass band based in Asheville and Brevard, North Carolina. Though formed in 2000, the band has become widely known since 2009 for collaborating with actor/banjoist Steve Martin. In 2013, the Steep Canyon Rangers' solo album Nobody Knows You won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album. The previous year, their 2012 collaboration with Steve Martin, Rare Bird Alert, was nominated for the same award. Steep Canyon Rangers have recorded 9 solo albums plus two collaborative albums with Steve Martin. SCR performed as a quintet for nearly a decade before intermittent touring began as a sextet with Steve Martin; the band still performs in both configurations. In May 2013, Steve Martin and SCR began performing with Edie Brickell after she and Martin co-wrote and recorded Love Has Come for You.

The Black Lillies are an Americana band from Knoxville, Tennessee that was founded in early 2009 by Cruz Contreras. They toured actively from 2009 until their last show on New Year's Eve 2019 at The Purple Fiddle in Thomas, West Virginia. Be Still Moses is the 12th studio album by American bluegrass band Steep Canyon Rangers. The album's title track, "Be Still Moses," features the Philadelphia R&B/Soul group Boyz II Men.
