House of Culture (Norwegian : Kulturhuset) is a cultural centre situated close to Stortorget in central Hamar, Norway. [2] Kulturhuset was officially opened on March 14, 2014. [4] [2] It contains a library, movie theater, concert hall, cultural school, youth culture house, music workshop, cafe, gallery and office spaces. Hamar kulturhus is a regional cultural center subject to the municipality of Hamar and houses many different cultural institutions and actors. [1]

Hausmania is a self-managed social centre and cultural house in Oslo, Norway. It was squatted in 1999 by a group of artists and run based on collectivist ideology. It is located alongside other squats at Hausmannsgate 34, in a zone designated as a cultural quarter. Hausmannsgate 42 was evicted in 2016. The centre hosts artist ateliers, a theatre, galleries, an internet space, a vegan café and a legal graffiti wall. Nearby are Kafe Hærverk and Vega Scene.

The Kasper Salin Prize is a prize awarded annually by Architects Sweden to a Swedish building or building project "of high architectural quality". It is considered the most prestigious architectural prize in the country and has been awarded since 1962. The award is distributed to the building itself and consists of a bronze relief, designed by Swedish architect Bengt Lindroos (1918–2010), which is attached to the building. The prize was funded on the basis of a donation from Kasper Salin (1856–1919) who served as the city architect of Stockholm from 1898 until 1915.
