The Housewife is an upcoming American film directed by Ben Shirinian in his directorial debut from a script by Alyssa Hill. It is starring Tye Sheridan, Naomi Watts, Michael Imperioli and Luke Evans.

Premise

An investigative journalist befriends the elegant wife of a man he suspects to be a Nazi officer living secretly in Queens, New York in 1964. [1]

Production

The film was announced in February 2024, directed by Ben Shirinian in his feature length debut, from a script by Alyssa Hill. Hill is also an executive producer with Kevin McKeon, Robbie Brenner and Lee Broda as producers. Neon International is handling international sales, with CAA Media Finance representing domestic rights. [2]

The cast set in February 2024 included Tye Sheridan, Naomi Watts, Michael Imperioli and Norman Reedus. [3]

Principal photography was scheduled for 2024 but took place in Montreal in April and May 2025, with Luke Evans replacing Reedus. [4] [5] [6]
