Percy Romeo Miller, also known by his stage name Romeo, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur, and model. Miller gained fame as a rapper in the early 2000s after signing with No Limit Records, then owned by his father, Master P. He soon released his debut single "My Baby" in 2001 which was not only an instant hit and went platinum in 2 weeks, it made the Guinness Book of World Records for one of the fastest selling singles. To date, the single is certified 2x platinum. Later the same year, Miller released his debut album Lil' Romeo, which charted the US Billboard 200 at number six selling 205,000 copies in its first week and went on to be certified Gold, selling 500,000 copies within under a month of its release. On April 20, 2002 the album had sold over 1,800,000 copies in the U.S.
Mr Big were a British pop rock band, active in the 1970s and 1990s. They were formed by Jeff Pain and best known for their 1977 Top 5 hit, "Romeo". The band was originally active from 1972–78 and then for a second period from 1990–98.

The song was included on the film's soundtrack album and Des'ree's third studio album, Supernatural (1998). A pop ballad set in the key of A minor, the record uses a simple instrumentation consisting only of piano and string instruments. "Kissing You" featured in Romeo + Juliet when the title characters meet at a ball. The song was well received by critics for its emotional melody and toned-down production. First released as a single in Australia on 24 February 1997, it appeared on the ARIA Singles Chart and the UK Singles Chart. A music video accompanied the single, which included scenes from Romeo + Juliet.

Since then, Santos has embarked on a solo career which has spawned seven number one songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart and sixteen number ones on the Tropical Songs chart.
