The Kings Royal (TKR) is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in early 2007. The band is made up of Benny Marchant on vocals and guitar, Sean Hennesy (The Hiwatts, Candlebox, The Gracious Few) on lead guitar, Walker Gibson on keyboards, Adam Kury (The Hiwatts, Candlebox) on bass and Dave Krusen (Pearl Jam, Candlebox) on drums.
The Kings Royal initially recorded 20 songs with David J. Holman producing, some with Sean Hurley (of Vertical Horizon) on bass guitar and Brian "Dogboy" Burwell (of Neve) on drums. They performed in clubs in and around Los Angeles, such as the Viper Room and the Whisky a Go Go. The band toured with Candlebox in the summer of 2008 playing in 42 cities in North America, with Sean Hennesy and Adam Kury playing with both bands.
The band's first record Beginning was released July 2, 2008. The song "Yes She Does (Stripped)" was released digitally in July 2009. It was originally part of a 5-song EP that is as yet unreleased.

David Karl Krusen is an American musician. Krusen is best known as the first drummer for the American rock band Pearl Jam and for his work on the band's debut album, Ten. Krusen was also a member of the bands Hovercraft and Unified Theory. He was also the drummer for Candlebox from 1997 to 1999 and from 2015 to 2017.
Liar's Club is a pop band from the Seattle-Tacoma area. They released three self-produced CDs between 1989 and 1995. The group has since reorganized and has released a fourth album in March, 2013.
Happy Pills is the third studio album by Seattle rock band, Candlebox. It features former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Krusen who replaced Scott Mercado in 1997. Happy Pills did not gain the success of its predecessors and would be the last Candlebox album before their hiatus in 2000. It would also be the final Candlebox album recorded for Maverick.

Disappearing in Airports is the sixth studio album by the American rock band Candlebox. It was released on April 22, 2016, on Pavement Entertainment. It is also the first album without original guitarist Peter Klett, and has only singer Kevin Martin left from the original lineup. Former Pearl Jam drummer Dave Krusen returned for the album.
Wolves is a 2021 studio album by American grunge band Candlebox. The album was recorded in late 2019 into early 2020, but release was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The album continues exploring pop rock that started with 2016's Disappearing in Airports and has received positive reviews from critics.
The Long Goodbye is the eighth and final studio album from American grunge band Candlebox, released on August 25, 2023. The album was promoted with the single "Punks"—a cautionary song to younger bands about the fickleness of the music industry—and a farewell tour, after which the band will break up, with vocalist Kevin Martin citing a lack of support in the music industry and the high costs of touring.
