The Lady from the City (Albanian : Zonja nga qyteti) is a 1976 Albanian comedy film directed by Piro Milkani, starring Violeta Manushi as Teto Ollga.
The film tells the story of Ollga, an old lady from the city that moved to the village to stay with her daughter, a young beautiful girl. Under socialism, young people were routinely sent to villages after graduation to work in order to get experience as well as contribute to previously underserved communities in their field of study. Her daughter, Meli, (Rajmonda Bulku) studied as a nurse. Teto Ollga had an attitude of superiority toward villagers, but at the end, she finds herself comfortable among them and she becomes useful as she starts working as chef. The movie features a great view of the village, Tushemisht, located in Pogradec, Albania, with its numerous canals, the lake, Drilon springs, and high mountains.

Parashqevi Qiriazi was an Albanian teacher of the Qiriazi family who dedicated her life to the Albanian alphabet and to the instruction of written Albanian language. She was a woman participant at the Congress of Manastir, which decided the form of the Albanian alphabet, and the founder of the Yll' i Mengjesit, a women's association. Parashqevi was also a participant in the Paris Peace Conference, 1919 as a member of the Albanian-American community. She was the sister of Sevasti Qiriazi, who was the director of the first Albanian School for girls in Korça, opened in 1891.
Violeta Manushi was an Albanian actress. She was honored with the People's Artist of Albania. She is best known in Albania for her portrayal of Teto Ollga, a symbolic character which followed her for much of her career.

Tushemisht is a village in the Korçë County, in southeastern Albania, located on the shores of Lake Ohrid. It was part of the former Buçimas municipality. At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality Pogradec. The village is very close to the border with Republic of North Macedonia. It sits at an elevation of 841m. Before the 2015 government reform the village was included in the Buçimas municipality.

The film was directed by Kujtim Çashku and its main theme is the blood feud (Gjakmarrja) on a strong political background. The story is set in 1939 Albania and revolves around two main threads. It depicts a couple on a trip in the mountainous north of the country during their honeymoon and the last days of freedom of a 26-year-old highlander, who has taken revenge for his brother's death, in respect of the traditional law of the region, the Kanun.

Zonja e Dheut is the Albanian name for the Earth Goddess. In Albanian folk beliefs, earth is the object of a special cult, important oaths, and curse formulas. The Earth Mother Goddess or Great Mother is simply referred to as Dhé or definite Dheu, "Earth" or "The Earth" in Albanian, and traces of her worship have been preserved in Albanian tradition. The Albanian noun Toka "The Earth" is also used to refer to the living Earth.
