The Last Unicorn is a song featured as a part of two full albums (HAC30) as well as an extended play [EP] single (HAC39) between 1994 and 1995 as released by the Australian band Swirl via the record label Half A Cow. The EP contains two cover songs - Nick Cave's "The Ship Song" and Klaatu's "Calling Occupants".

Mark William Lanegan was an American singer, songwriter and poet. He released 12 solo studio albums as well as three collaboration albums with Isobel Campbell and two with Duke Garwood. He was known for his baritone voice, which was described as being "as scratchy as a three-day beard yet as supple and pliable as moccasin leather" and has been compared to Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave.

Andrea Zollo and Derek Fudesco had played together previously in The Hookers, as well as The Death Wish Kids and Area 51 along with Dann Gallucci, with whom Derek had formed Murder City Devils. Not long before the Murder City Devils disbanded, Derek and Andrea formed Pretty Girls Make Graves along with Jay, Nick and Nathan. They played the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2004. The band announced its split on January 29, 2007, with their final two shows taking place in Seattle that June.

Swirl were an Australia indie rock band, forming in 1991 by Ben Aylward on guitar and vocals, David Lord on drums and Nicola Schultz on bass guitar and vocals. Schultz left in 1997 and was replaced by Richard Anderson on bass guitar and keyboards and Keira Hodgkison on guitar and vocals. They released three albums, Aurora, The Last Unicorn and Light Fill My Room, before breaking up in December 2002.

Deadboy & the Elephantmen was an American indie rock band active from 2000 to 2007. Based in Houma, Louisiana, the band was fronted by Dax Riggs.

Distant Sky: Live in Copenhagen is an extended play by the Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. It was released on 28 September 2018 on Bad Seed Ltd. Containing four tracks from a performance at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark in October 2017, the EP was preceded by a concert film of the same name directed by David Barnard. Critical response to Distant Sky: Live in Copenhagen was unanimously positive and the EP charted worldwide, reaching number one on the United Kingdom's Vinyl Albums chart.

The NOS Primavera Sound 2022 was held on 9 to 11 June 2022 at the Parque da Cidade, Porto, Portugal. The festival was headlined by Tame Impala, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Pavement, Beck and Gorillaz.
