The Le Van Family Musicians are a family of vocalists, pianists, and violinists[1][2] who perform in a variety of styles and genres of music.[3] Originally from Alsace, France, they moved to America in 2003.
The Le Van Family Musicians group is composed of four musicians, Eric Le Van, his daughters Sarah and Solene, and his son Sean. Eric plays the piano. Sarah plays violin and sings, and sometimes performs on a minstrel harp. Solene plays violin and sings, and she can also performs on the guitar and the mandolin. Sean plays keyboards and he also sings.
The Le Vans have performed as guest soloists of the Cypress Pops Orchestra[4][5] and of the Celeste Guild of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra,[6] the opening concert of the 26th Jazz Festival in Munster (France),[7][8] as well as in Carnegie Hall,[9] Steinway Hall, Beverly Hilton (Los Angeles), La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts,[10] Steamers Jazz Club,[11] the Irvine Israel Expo,[12] Cox Auditorium (Illinois), MGM Grand (Las Vegas), Mission Viejo Cultural Arts series,[13] Livingston Community Concerts (Texas),[14] among others. They were also invited to perform in the 3rd International Vianden Music Festival and Academy in Luxembourg.[15][16] Recently, they appeared in the Anaheim Performing Arts Center gala concert alongside legendary performer Debbie Reynolds.[17][18] Noted musicians have shared the stage with them, such as Berisford "Shep" Shepherd, Michel Hausser, Mourad Benhammou, Michael Le Van, Llew Matthews, Ron Kobayashi, Bruce Lett and Tim Pleasant.
They were selected to participate in NBC's America's Got Talent and featured in the French magazine Femme Actuelle[19] as well as on France 3.[20] Sarah was the first recipient of the Blanche Nissim Memorial Fund Award from the La Mirada Symphony Association for exceptionally talented young musicians at the age of 8.[21] Among Solene's awards are a First Place in the Last Vegas USA World Showcase (2004), First Place on America's Most Talented Kids (2005), and Gold Medal at the American Association for the Development of the Gifted and Talented (AADGT) "Passion of Music" Competition (2010), at which her brother Sean took the Silver Medal.[22]

His erratic temperament hampered his career, and not until the late 1940s did he earn wide acclaim. Bechet spent much of his later life in France.

A commanding presence on operatic, concert and recital stages, Norman was associated with roles including Beethoven's Leonore, Wagner's Sieglinde and Kundry, Cassandre and Didon by Berlioz and Bartók's Judith. The New York Times music critic Edward Rothstein described her voice as a "grand mansion of sound", and wrote that "it has enormous dimensions, reaching backward and upward. It opens onto unexpected vistas. It contains sunlit rooms, narrow passageways, cavernous halls."
Jean-Baptiste Frédéric Isidor, Baron Thielemans, known professionally as Toots Thielemans, was a Belgian jazz musician. He was mostly known for playing the chromatic harmonica, as well as his guitar and whistling skills, and composing. According to jazz historian Ted Gioia, his most important contribution was in "championing the humble harmonica", which Thielemans made into a "legitimate voice in jazz". He eventually became the "preeminent" jazz harmonica player.
Orange County School of the Arts, is a 7th–12th grade public charter school located in downtown Santa Ana, California. The school caters to middle and high school students with talents in the performing, visual, literary arts, culinary arts and more. The educational program prepares students for higher education institutions or employment in the professional arts industry. In 2010 the school's academic and arts programs were ranked with silver medal status in the U.S. News & World Report "Best High Schools" list. In 2012 the school changed its name from Orange County High School of the Arts (OCHSA) to its current name, Orange County School of the Arts.

Biréli Lagrène is a French jazz guitarist who came to prominence in the 1980s for his Django Reinhardt–influenced style. He often performs in swing, jazz fusion, and post-bop styles.
Mission Viejo High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Mission Viejo, California, United States, as part of the Saddleback Valley Unified School District.
