Austell is a city in Cobb County in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 6,581.

The songs represent various pastiches of popular music, such as glam metal, folk, hip hop, techno and indie rock.
C+C Music Factory was an American musical group formed in 1989 by David Cole and Robert Clivillés. The group is best known for their five hit singles: "Gonna Make You Sweat ", "Here We Go ", "Things That Make You Go Hmmmm...", "Just a Touch of Love", and "Keep It Comin'". The band stopped recording in 1996, following Cole's death. In 2010, C+C Music Factory reformed, with Eric Kupper replacing Cole. Original vocalist Freedom Williams acquired trademark rights to the name in 2003 and still tours under that moniker.
Bloodrock was an American rock band based in Fort Worth, Texas that had considerable success in the 1970s. The band was one of the earliest of a number of noteworthy bands to emerge from the Fort Worth club and music scene during the early to mid-1970s.

Everything is Shifting is a 2005 EP by Atlanta-based rock band Y-O-U. The record represented a striking change in the band's sound, both lyrically and musically, the latter change being inspired in part by the departure of two members, Eric Park and Matt Sonnicksen, in 2004. Multi-instrumentalist Clay Cook assisted the band in the performance and production of Everything Is Shifting and appeared in the video for "Good Luck with that American Dream"; however, he would not become a member of Y-O-U until after the record's release and would then leave the band before its next project Flashlights. "Good Luck with that American Dream" has been licensed for an international Coca-Cola ad.

Released as a single in 1984 from the album Emergency, the song peaked at #11 on the UK chart, #9 on the U.S. Hot 100 charts, and was number one on both the U.S. R&B and dance charts. The Lullaby Tour was a 1989 U.S. concert tour by American electronic group Book of Love, in support of the act's second studio album, Lullaby, which was released in July 1988. The band had originally intended to tour in the fall of 1988, but the illness of a band member delayed the tour until 1989. The second single from the album and title track "Lullaby" was released on January 4, 1989 to coincide with the tour.

Yacht Rock Revue is a cover band formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 2007. The band was formed by members of the now defunct indie rock band Y-O-U after an ironic performance of cheesy soft rock hits at a local club gig took off into a weekly residence. The band’s set list is centered around a genre called “Yacht Rock”, coined by the early 2000’s web series of the same name, consisting primarily of soft rock from the ‘70s and ‘80s, but at times including songs as recent as the early ‘90’s.
