The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band that formed in London in 1975. They were responsible for initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspiring many later punk and alternative rock musicians. Although their initial career lasted just two and a half years and produced only four singles and one studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, they are regarded as one of the most influential acts in the history of popular music.

Rhodes was responsible for discovering John Lydon and arranging his audition in the King's Road which led to him joining the Sex Pistols. He introduced Mick Jones and Paul Simonon to Joe Strummer, who, with Keith Levene then formed The Clash.
Good Times is the twentieth studio album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released on March 20, 1974. The album was constructed by the first pick of a session held at Stax Studios in Memphis in December 1973 and two songs, "I've Got a Thing About You Baby" and "Take Good Care of Her", which were left over from the session at Stax in July 1973. The album includes a collection of songs that vary in style and genre. Released the same day as the recording of Elvis: Recorded Live on Stage in Memphis was being made, the title was taken from the song "Talk About the Good Times". Many of the songs are covers of hits at the time, like "Spanish Eyes" and "She Wears My Ring". Charting low at the time of its release, it was considered typical 1970s Elvis material and was his first album to hit the "cut-out bins". The album did have some success though upon its original release, becoming a Cashbox #1 hit and charting in the Top 50 in the UK.

Operation Elvis by C.P. Taylor is a play for children, first produced by the Live Theatre Company in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1978. Taylor worked as a drama teacher at Morpeth’s Northgate Hospital, and used it as the main setting for the play. Critics have noted that, in keeping with his other works for children, Operation Elvis is notable for its engagement with complex social issues such as disability, being “written from the unsentimental standpoint that children's relationships are as complicated as those of adults.”
