Claire Scanlon is the director from a script by Sarah Rothschild, adapting the Ali Hazlewood 2021 novel of the same name. Elizabeth Cantillon is producer for Amazon MGM Studios and MRC. [2]

The cast is led by Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman. [3] Rachel Marsh, Nicholas Duvernay, Jaboukie Young-White and Arty Froushan joined the cast in August 2025. [4]

Principal photography took place in Montreal, Canada, in July and August 2025. [5] [6]
