The Luupe is a global marketplace for exceptional visual storytelling.
We are home to a community of professional photographers, directors, and creators with deep experience crafting visuals that resonate and cut through the noise.
In a time where visuals are increasingly machine-made, we're on a mission to keep human creativity at the heart of brand storytelling. That's why we built a platform where real stories thrive, powered by real creators who bring genuine perspective and emotion to every frame.
We help our community of professional creators build sustainable businesses while connecting them with brands who seek something more — authentic visual content that resonates.
Born from founder Keren Sachs' vision (creator of Offset by Shutterstock) and her belief that diverse voices tell better stories, The Luupe has grown into a vibrant global community. Our creators span more than 90 countries, bringing their unique perspectives to leading brands across fashion, beauty, food, lifestyle, tech, and beyond.
Our marketplace offers two ways to tap into this creative power:
We're building something different here — a place where professional creators are valued fairly, where authentic storytelling matters, and where brands can find real connection in an increasingly artificial world.

Before founding The Luupe, Keren Sachs spent over a decade shaping visual content programs at industry leaders. She was Director of Content Development at Shutterstock, where she co‑created Offset, [1] and held editorial roles at National Geographic and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. [2] Recognizing a lack of opportunities for under‑represented creatives, she launched The Luupe in early 2019 to open new revenue streams and brand partnerships for diverse photographers. [3]
In November 2021, The Luupe raised US$3 million in seed funding led by Wave Capital, with participation from Jenny Lefcourt (Freestyle) and strategic angels including Tracy Kim, Jody Vandergriff, and Lee Torrens. [4]
The platform has served brands such as Dropbox, Sweetgreen, Uber, Facebook, CarGurus, Tripadvisor, Sierra Club, and Corkcicle. [4]
