The Movers is an upcoming American supernatural thriller film written and directed by Giorgio Serafini and starring Jena Malone, Terrence Howard, Tom Everett Scott and Christopher Lloyd. [1]
Filming took place in Jackson, Mississippi from May to June 2023. [3] [4] Lloyd completed filming his scenes in May. [4]

Jena Laine Malone is an American actress. Her accolades include a nomination for a Golden Globe Award. Born in Sparks, Nevada, Malone spent her early life there and in Las Vegas, while her mother acted in local theater productions. Inspired to become an actress herself, Malone convinced her mother to relocate to Los Angeles. The Black Phone is a 2021 American supernatural horror film directed by Scott Derrickson from a screenplay coauthored with longtime collaborator C. Robert Cargill. Afterward is a repeatedly announced American thriller drama film that was supposed to be written and directed by Dito Montiel. The film was supposed to star Aaron Eckhart, Terrence Howard, and George Lopez. Announced in 2019, with director Montiel, and Eckhart, Howard and Lopez attached, filming was finally announced in March 2020, and then delayed to Spring 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The entire production went silent until September 2023, when the original slate of participants were gone and director Amin Matalqa and actress Beverly D'Angelo were attached, with filming expected to begin in October and November 2023.
