The Paramount at Buckhead is a 478 ft (146 m) tall residential skyscraper in Atlanta, Georgia, and the tallest building in The Alliance Center complex. It was constructed between 2002 and 2004, and has 40 floors above ground and 5 floors below ground. It is the 21st tallest building in Atlanta.^[1] The Paramount at Buckhead is the tallest residential structure ever built using tunnelform concrete construction.^[2]^[3]

Atlanta is the capital of, and the most populous city in, the U.S. state of Georgia. With an estimated 2017 population of 486,290, it is also the 38th most-populous city in the United States. The city serves as the cultural and economic center of the Atlanta metropolitan area, home to 5.8 million people and the ninth-largest metropolitan area in the nation. Atlanta is the seat of Fulton County, the most populous county in Georgia. A small portion of the city extends eastward into neighboring DeKalb County.

Georgia is a state in the Southeastern United States. It began as a British colony in 1733, the last and southernmost of the original Thirteen Colonies to be established. Named after King George II of Great Britain, the Province of Georgia covered the area from South Carolina south to Spanish Florida and west to French Louisiana at the Mississippi River. Georgia was the fourth state to ratify the United States Constitution, on January 2, 1788. In 1802–1804, western Georgia was split to the Mississippi Territory, which later split to form Alabama with part of former West Florida in 1819. Georgia is the 24th largest and the 8th most populous of the 50 United States. From 2007 to 2008, 14 of Georgia's counties ranked among the nation's 100 fastest-growing, second only to Texas. Georgia is known as the Peach State and the Empire State of the South. Atlanta, the state's capital and most populous city, has been named a global city. Atlanta's metropolitan area contains about 55% of the population of the entire state.

The Alliance Center is a complex in Atlanta, Georgia. Its tallest building is the 478-foot, 40-floor Paramount at Buckhead. It also includes the 22-floor One Alliance Center, and the 30-floor Two Alliance Center.

ViewPoint is a 501 ft (152m) tall skyscraper in Atlanta, Georgia. It started construction in 2006 and has 36 floors. Preston Partnership, LLC designed the building and Novare Group developed it. Terminus is a business and residential complex located in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia. The office component of the district is made up of Terminus 200 and Terminus 100. Terminus 100, at the corner of Peachtree Road and Piedmont Road, is the tallest building in Terminus at 485 ft (148 m) tall, and is the 18th-tallest building in Atlanta. Terminus 200 was completed in 2009 and has 22 floors. 10 Terminus Place, the residential component of the complex, is a condominium tower with 32 floors. The name "Terminus" derives from Atlanta's original name, derived from the city's founding as the southeastern terminus for the Western & Atlantic Railroad, although the city was never officially named this.

The Pinnacle is a 22-story skyscraper in the Buckhead district of Atlanta. Built at the corner of Lenox and Peachtree Roads, construction was finished in 1998. The building will rise 1,550 feet (472 m) to the roof. Upon completion, Central Park Tower will become the second-tallest skyscraper in the United States and the Western Hemisphere and the tallest by roof height of a building outside of Asia, surpassing the Willis Tower by around 95 feet.
