The Park Centre is a retail and leisure development that was constructed in a largely built-up residential area in South-West Belfast. [1] The complex was constructed by Brookmount Properties Limited and opened on 15 April 1985. Today it is currently owned and operated by Latt Limited.
The Park Centre opened its doors to the public in 15 April 1985 on the former grounds of the Belfast Celtic F.C. It was one of the few such shopping centres in the whole of Northern Ireland at that time.
In recent times, The Park Centre has had a £400,000 renovation, [2] which included an extension that expanded retail space. Currently, there are 35 shops within the centre including JD Sports, Poundland and Specsavers. The complex also has a number of other tenants including Peacocks and Iceland. [3] The Park Centre also has a number of food outlets including a Subway and a local coffee shop along with a Mace convinence shop.
In the spring of 2018, an investment of £3 million was announced which included the creation of a B&M and a Home Bargains superstore that would replace the former Dunnes Stores food hall in the centre, B&M would relocate as they had a presence in the centre. [4]
Lesley Forestside is a shopping centre located in Newtownbreda in the south Belfast, Northern Ireland. The first phase of the centre, the 39,000 square feet (3,600 m2) Sainsbury's store, opened in March 1997 followed by the remainder of the centre in September 1998.

Westfield Geelong is a shopping centre located in the Geelong CBD in Victoria, Australia which was opened in 1988. It was formerly known as Westfield Bay City before the 2008 redevelopment, and as Bay City Plaza before being acquired by the Westfield Group in 2003. The centre is located on the northern side of Malop Street opposite the Market Square shopping complex, and is bounded by Moorabool Street, Yarra Street, Malop Street and Brougham Street. The Tribeca Belfast development, formerly known as North East Quarter and previously Royal Exchange, is a planned £500 million development based in the north east of Belfast City Centre. It is a major mixed-use regeneration scheme, with a total area of 1.5 million sq ft (0.14 million m2) as of 2018. The development has generated controversy since its inception in 2003. Over the years, opposition has been levelled against its lack of care towards existing important built heritage, lack of integration with local small businesses and arts organisations and even its brand name, and much of its existence so far has been in the context of an arson attack on one of the existing buildings in 2004, while under the ownership of the developers.
