The Real Dirty Dancing is an Australian talent show-themed television series that premiered on Seven Network on 30 September 2019. [1] The series follows eight celebrities who revisit key locations and moments from the movie Dirty Dancing and learn the iconic dance routines under the guidance of choreographers Todd McKenney and Kym Johnson. [2]

American version

On 19 January 2022, an American version was announced. It was hosted by Stephen "tWitch" Boss and produced by Eureka Productions and Lionsgate Television. It premiered on 1 February 2022 on Fox. [6]

British version

On 25 August 2021, Channel 4 announced that the British version would be hosted by Leigh Francis (formerly from Channel 4's Bo' Selecta!, and appearing in character as Keith Lemon on The Real Dirty Dancing), Pussycat Dolls member Ashley Roberts, and Dreamboys choreographer Jordan Darrell. This version is produced by Fremantle's Thames production company and premiered in February 2022 on E4. [7]

Australia's Got Talent is an Australian reality television show, based on the original UK series, to find new talent. Nine announced that the show would be returning in 2016 for an eighth season. It is the second season to air on Nine after it was axed in 2013. Auditions are open for September and October 2015. On 28 October 2015, it was announced that Kyle Sandilands, Geri Halliwell, Dawn French and Timomatic have been replaced with a new panel of judges, they are Ian "Dicko" Dickson, Sophie Monk, Kelly Osbourne and Eddie Perfect. Julia Morris did not return as host as she is committed to another show and was replaced by Dave Hughes as the host. For the first time, this season introduced the Golden Buzzer. The series features four ex-Special Forces soldiers acting as the directing staff (DS), with Ant Middleton as the chief instructor.

The fifth season of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia premiered on the Nine Network on 23 May 2021, following a six-year absence. British business magnate and The Apprentice UK host, Lord Alan Sugar leads the series as CEO, while Lorna Jane Clarkson and Janine Allis became the new boardroom advisors.
