Education in England is overseen by the United Kingdom's Department for Education. Local government authorities are responsible for implementing policy for public education and state-funded schools at a local level.
Sheldon School is a large mixed secondary school and sixth form in Chippenham, Wiltshire for students aged 11 to 18 and is the largest school in Wiltshire. Since April 2011, it has been an Academy. It is one of three in Chippenham, the others being Abbeyfield and Hardenhuish. Since 1 September 2012, the school has been headed by Neil Spurdell who had previously been headteacher at John O'Gaunt School in Hungerford, West Berkshire. The school is off the Hardenhuish Lane in the southern region of Hardenhuish Park, which is all that separates it from Hardenhuish School to the north.
The British School of Paris (BSP) has provided a British education in Paris since 1954. It is an independent fee-paying school with around 600 pupils, representing well over 50 nationalities. The British School of Paris is the only UK government accredited school in France. The education programme is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales and its Patron is the serving British Ambassador to France. The school is located in the western suburbs of Paris in Croissy-sur-Seine.
Jerudong International School is a co-educational, boarding and day school in Brunei, Southeast Asia. It has over 1680 students - of which around 200 are boarding students. Regents Academy was an independent school based in Manby, Lincolnshire, England. The school was founded in 1992 by Amanda Franklin and her husband, Stephen Franklin, a pastor in a local church. The school admitted both male and female pupils from ages 3 to 19. The school closed in 2017.

Chrisland Schools is a conglomerate of schools that has provided education for Nursery, Primary and Secondary School students in Nigeria, with its schools spread across Lagos and Abuja. Pending further investigation on allegations of sexual violence involving students of one of the Chrisland schools, the government has mandated the temporary and potentially permanent shutdown of these schools. The Lagos State Government ordered that all Chrisland Schools be reopened on Monday, April 25, 2022.
