In sound recording and reproduction, and sound reinforcement systems, a mixing console is an electronic device for combining sounds of many different audio signals. Inputs to the console include microphones being used by singers and for picking up acoustic instruments, signals from electric or electronic instruments, or recorded music. Depending on the type, a mixer is able to control analog or digital signals. The modified signals are summed to produce the combined output signals, which can then be broadcast, amplified through a sound reinforcement system or recorded.

MSR Studios was the largest full-service recording facility in New York City. MSR Studios was located just outside Times Square at 168 West 48th street, between 6th and 7th avenues. It was, until a few years ago, known as Legacy Studios. It came into being after Sound on Sound and Right Track Recording merged.
Little Mountain Sound Studios is a music recording facility located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. During the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, it was the most successful recording studio in Western Canada and was the home for many years to producers Bruce Fairbairn and Bob Rock. Little Mountain recorded albums by Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Metallica, Bryan Adams, Mötley Crüe, David Lee Roth, Loverboy, and the Cult among many others. In the mid 1990s Little Mountain would become part of Vancouver Studios, the facility would eventually evolve into Greenhouse Studios and would record albums by Nickelback, k.d. lang, Default, and Queensrÿche.
Nemo Studios was a recording studio in London, planned, built and used by Greek composer Vangelis between 1975 and 1987. Numerous highlights of Vangelis' career were composed in Nemo, including soundtracks for Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, and Hugh Hudson's Chariots of Fire.
Townhouse Studios was a recording studio located at 150 Goldhawk Road, Shepherd's Bush, built by Richard Branson in 1978, and managed by Barbara Jeffries as part of the Virgin Studios Group. The Virgin Studios Group was acquired by EMI when Richard sold Virgin Records to EMI in 1992. The Sanctuary Group bought the studio from EMI in 2002. Al Stone, a recording engineer and producer, who trained at The Town House, ran the studios for Sanctuary in 2006, only to see Universal close it around April 2008 after a Sanctuary buy-out. The building had three recording rooms, numbered 1, 2 and 4: Studio number 3 was The Who's old Ramport Studios.

The song was also used in part of episode two of the sixth series of Doctor Who Confidential. The song was also used in The Inbetweeners Movie. BBC also use this as their theme for tennis.

The single was released as a digital download and on CD single on 24 February 2010. "She Said" was the sixteenth best selling British single of 2010.
"Love Goes Down" is the fifth single from British songwriter and rapper Plan B's second studio album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks. The single was released on 3 December 2010. HiveMag said of the song: "It’s delightfully soulful and gentle, especially in contrast with some of Plan B’s earlier records. It’s a nice wind-down song. It’s peaceful; it’s relaxing and perfect for this time of year. Yes it may be different and maybe we shouldn’t like it, but the vintage sounding, Motown-like track just seems to work. It’s different but I admire artists that experiment with their sound and adapt to new sounds."
David McEwan is Australian/British music producer, engineer, composer, and a member of the band The Safires. He is the co-owner of The Sanctuary Recording Studio in London and is best known for his work on the award-winning Plan B album The Defamation of Strickland Banks. He has also had long time production connections with musician Nitin Sawhney. David McEwan is also the son of the Australian actor Colin McEwan.
The Defamation of Strickland Banks Tour was a concert tour by British musician Plan B in support of his second studio album The Defamation of Strickland Banks. Lasting from January 2010–September 2011, the tour visited the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and Oceania.
"Hard Times" is the seventh single from British rapper and songwriter Plan B's second studio album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks. On 19 May 2011, it was released as a digital download, featuring newly recorded vocal parts by Elton John and Paloma Faith, recorded as a charity single with all the proceeds benefiting victims of the 2010 Pakistan floods and 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
