The Scarlet Ending is an American six piece indie rock band from Syracuse, New York. The group is fronted by identical twin sisters Kayleigh Goldsworthy (vocals, guitar, violin) and Kaleena Goldsworthy (vocals, piano, accordion, pennywhistle, melodica, ukulele), with Jon Tedd (guitar, vocals), Jess Hafner (cello, synthesizer), Nick Streeter (drums, percussion), and Aaron Garritillo (bass guitar) [1]

Career

The Scarlet Ending was started by identical twin sisters Kayleigh and Kaleena in 2002. In 2008 the band grew to include Jon, Jess, Nick, and Aaron.

The song "The Way We Used to Be," off the CD Cries and Whispers appeared on Season 3 of MTV's The Hills, and was also featured on the DVD release. The song was also featured on season 4 of Making the Band. [5]

Notable touring

In the summer of 2008, the band toured both Greenland and Germany for Armed Forces Entertainment. [8] [9]

In September and October 2009, the band toured Southwest Asia with Armed Forces Entertainment. [10]

Guitar Hero: Van Halen is a 2009 rhythm game developed by Underground Development and published by Activision. It is the tenth installment in the Guitar Hero series and the third to focus on the career and songs of one rock band, Van Halen, following Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (2008) and Guitar Hero: Metallica (2009). The game was released in retail for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii systems on December 22, 2009, in North America, and in February 2010 for PAL regions. In their 7 years of existence they managed to put out several splits, including one with heavily influential screamo band Orchid, a 10" EP, one full-length album and a posthumous release that compiles nearly all their splits and early EPs. Though the band did not tour very often or put out many records their footprint is still visible in the screamo and powerviolence underground. The band was signed to famous Florida record label No Idea Records late in their career. Guitarist Chris Norris currently does graphic design under the name Steak Mtn. and has contributed artwork for releases by groups such as Atom And His Package, Orchid and Against Me!.

Bittersweet is the first studio album by Life On Planet 9, the pseudonym used by American hard rock band Lo-Pro when releasing music of a more experimental nature. The album was released on August 20, 2011. The album's origins trace back as far as 2007, when Lo-Pro participated in an acoustic tour with Staind frontman Aaron Lewis. Tracks started as acoustic rock material, but as they developed, they gained further ambient and electronic elements. The sound strayed so far from their original hard rock sound that they decided to release it under another name.

Songs People Actually Liked – Volume 1 – The First 10 Years (1994–2003) is compilation album by American rock band Bowling for Soup, released on January 27, 2015. The compilation was completely fan-funded, as well as being released on the band's own record label like their previous albums. The band celebrates their 20th anniversary on June 4, 2014, and for a birthday present Bowling For Soup decided to re-record an album of their best and best-known songs partly in response to a "Best Of" hits released by their former record label, that was created without the band's knowledge of and or any input. The album also contains 17 re-recordings of songs from their low-budget albums and one new song.
