The Scribe is the official school newspaper for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs campus, published since 1966. [1]

A typical issue features articles in News; Sports; Health and Recreation; Letters to and from the Editor; Opinion; Life on the Bluffs; and Culture. [1]

Every year around April Fool's Day, The Scribe transforms into The Scribble, the satirical version of The Scribe. Satirical articles are published under pseudonyms. [2] [3]

In March 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, The Scribe stopped producing a physical newspaper and began to post new articles solely on their website. [1]

In September 2020, The Scribe added a Health and Recreation category. [1]

In April 2021, The Scribe began a student-run podcast called subScribe Podcast [4]

In September 2021, The Scribe began to print a monthly newspaper in addition to their online content. [5]

In August 2022, The Scribe reverted back to web-only content, publishing articles and podcasts five days a week.

Flyer News, also known as "fn", is the independent student newspaper of the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. It was first published October 21, 1959 and is now published in print monthly while classes are in session, for a total of nine issues per academic year. Currently, 4,000 copies of each issue are distributed throughout campus. Each issue is typically 12 pages long and includes four sections: news, arts and entertainment, opinions and sports. Flyer News' website is updating weekly with campus, local and national news; editorials, Flyer sports recaps and breaking news.

The Maine Campus is a weekly newspaper produced by the students of the University of Maine in the United States. It covers university and Town of Orono events, and has four sections: News, Opinion, Culture and Sports. It serves the 20,000 students, faculty and staff of the university. UVU Review is the independent, student media organization for Utah Valley University, it is completely student-run and includes a print newspaper, online edition/website, podcasting division, video broadcasting division, social media division, graphic design division, and a marketing division. The paper's name became official with its June 30, 2008 issue - the day before UVU officially became a university.

The DailyER, formerly titled The Dailyer Nebraskan and The DailyER Nebraskan, established in 2008, is a satirical newspaper produced monthly during the fall and spring semester at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Although The DailyER has a similar name and is also university-funded, it is not affiliated with UNL's official newspaper, The Daily Nebraskan. The current editor-in-chief is Liam Spieker.

The Montana Kaimin is the University of Montana's student-run independent newspaper located in Missoula, Montana. The paper is printed once a week, Thursday, with special editions printed occasionally and is online at MontanaKaimin.com. The Kaimin covers news, sports, arts and culture, and opinion.

The Dickinsonian is a student-run newspaper published by students of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The newspaper is distributed free of charge on campus and to subscribers for a cost. The Dickinsonian is funded by the College and revenues from advertising and subscriptions.

The Massachusetts Daily Collegian is an American daily newspaper founded in 1890, and the independently funded, student-operated newspaper of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The Collegian is a non-profit funded entirely through advertising revenue and receives no funding from the university or from student fees. In 2018, the Collegian scaled back its print edition to one issue per month, with digital-only articles continuing to be released daily.

<i>The Betoota Advocate</i> Australian satirical news website

The Betoota Advocate is an Australian satirical news website and digital media company that publishes articles on international, national, and local news. The site puts a comedic spin on current news topics and broader social observations. The site is based in inner Sydney, but takes its name from the deserted regional town of Betoota, Queensland, and purports to be "Australia's oldest newspaper".
