The Secret Life of Haute Couture [1] is a TV documentary directed by Margy Kinmonth [2] which follows her journey from Paris to New York City and California where she meets some of Haute couture clientele and the world-famous designers involved. The film was first aired on BBC Two in 2007 [3]

Haute couture is the creation of impeccable, custom-fitted high-end fashion design that today is partially constructed by hand and often utilizes other handmade, one-of-a-kind embellishments, notions and trimmings. Beginning in the mid-nineteenth century, Charles Frederick Worth made a name for himself dressing the then French Empress Eugenie and placed himself at the centre of an industry that grew out of traditional French dressmaking whose focus on making outfits from high-quality, expensive, often unusual fabric were best solidified in the 17th and 18th Centuries at the courts of Louis XIV, XV, and XVI.. Royal Paintbox is a documentary film directed by Margy Kinmonth that follows Charles, Prince of Wales as he reveals the rare and prolific art work of his forebears, many of whom were accomplished amateur artists, and traces his family's love of painting through the generations. Shot in Balmoral Castle, Highgrove House, Eastcote, Windsor Castle, Frogmore House & Osborne House, Royal Paintbox features art by members of the British royal family down the centuries including some of Charles, Prince of Wales's own watercolours and artist Sarah Armstrong-Jones.

Revolution: New Art for a New World is a feature documentary written and directed by Margy Kinmonth and produced by Foxtrot Films Ltd and Arts Alliance, starring Matthew Macfadyen, Tom Hollander, Eleanor Tomlinson, James Fleet and Daisy Bevan. The film documents the famous Russian Avant-garde artists that flourished after the October Revolution, only to be later suppressed by Joseph Stalin's regime. The documentary was filmed on location in London, Saint Petersburg and Moscow, with access to The Tretyakov Gallery, The Russian Museum, The Hermitage Museum and in co-operation with The Royal Academy of Arts, London.
