The Tech Talk was the student newspaper of Louisiana Tech University. The print edition of The Tech Talk was published on Thursdays during the regular school year, except during vacation and examination periods.
The first newspaper published at Louisiana Tech was The Industrialist, published from 1897 to 1906. The next Louisiana Tech newspaper was called The Spizzerinktum. In 1926, the newspaper changed names to The Hilly Billy, and later in 1926, the name was changed to its current name, The Tech Talk. [1]
In 2018, the print edition of the newspaper was discontinued, with the student newspaper converting to a digital publication. The Tech Talk ceased publication in 2019.

In 2004 it was one of 25 collegiate newspapers to receive the Pacemaker award from the Associated Collegiate Press.
The Tulane Hullabaloo is the weekly student-run newspaper of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Tulane Hullabaloo is also self-funded by selling advertisements to business owners and other organizations on the self-serve advertising platform. The Tulane Hullabaloo publishes its print edition once a month. It has received multiple Pacemaker Awards, the highest award in college journalism.

The Collegiate Times is an independent, student-run newspaper serving Virginia Tech since 1903. The Educational Media Company at Virginia Tech (EMCVT), a non-profit student media consortium, owns the publication. Based in Blacksburg, Virginia, the Collegiate Times publishes local news, sports, features and opinions for 5,000 print readers every Tuesday of the academic year and prints weekly summer editions. The Huntsville Times was a thrice-weekly newspaper published in Huntsville, Alabama. It also served the surrounding areas of north Alabama's Tennessee Valley region. The Times formerly operated as an afternoon paper, but moved to mornings years after The Huntsville News ceased publication. It was published by The Huntsville Times Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Advance Publications, Inc. The paper was first acquired by Advance's founder, Samuel Newhouse Sr., in 1955. MIT Tech Talk was the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's official newspaper from February 1957 until September 2009, when it ceased publication. It was written and published by the MIT News Office, both in print and online, with print copies distributed throughout campus free of charge. The publication schedule was roughly weekly, with an issue out most Wednesdays during the academic term.

The College of Engineering and Science (COES) is one of five colleges at Louisiana Tech University, a public research university in Ruston, Louisiana. The roots of the college date back to the founding of Louisiana Tech in 1894 when the Department of Mechanics was created. The Brigadier is the student newspaper at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. The newspaper is a primarily published in blog form, with printed copies for major events during the school year.. Established in 1924 as The Bull Dog, the publication changed to its present name during the Presidency of General Mark W. Clark. Until 2018, print editions were published biweekly from September through April by the Department of Cadet Activities, with free editions available on campus and mail subscriptions available for a nominal fee. Beginning in 2018–19, the newspaper moved to its present online format.
The 1974 NCAA College Division football rankings are from the United Press International poll of College Division head coaches and from the Associated Press poll of sportswriters and broadcasters. The 1974 NCAA Division II football season was the 17th year UPI published a Coaches Poll and it was the 15th year for the Associated Press. Both polls used the term "College Division" in 1974, but many of the referenced publications continued to use the "Small College" terminology.
