The Twelve ( Dutch : De twaalf) is a 2019 Flemish-language television series created by Sanne Nuyens and Bert Van Dael and starring Maaike Cafmeyer, Charlotte De Bruyne, Tom Vermeir and Maaike Neuville. [1] [2]
Twelve citizens are called for jury duty in an unusual murder case: Frie Palmers is a school headmistress accused of two murders committed many years apart. The first is the murder of her best friend Brechtje on New Years Day 2000, and the second is the killing of her own daughter in 2016. As the trial progresses, each jury member has varied emotional reactions to the events of the case as presented by the prosecutor. It is their difficult job to decide on the guilt or the innocence of the accused.
The Twelve was released on November 3, 2019 on Eén. [1] Netflix picked up the series for streaming in July 2020. [5] In the UK, the series was licensed by Channel 4 as part of its Walter Presents service and is available to stream on All 4. [6]

De twaalf was adapted for Australian television, and aired on Foxtel's Fox Showcase from June to August 2022. It features Kate Mulvany, Sam Neill, Marta Dusseldorp and Brendan Cowell. The writing team for the adaptation consisted of Sarah Walker, Bradford Winters, Leah Purcell, Anchuli Felicia King, Tommy Murphy and Greg Waters.

Ricardo Leyva Muñoz Ramirez, better known as Richard Ramirez, and nicknamed the Night Stalker, was an American serial killer and sex offender whose killing spree occurred in Greater Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area in the state of California. From April 1984 to August 1985, Ramirez murdered at least fourteen people during various break-ins, with his crimes usually taking place in the afternoon, leading to him being dubbed the Night Stalker, the Walk-In Killer, and the Valley Intruder. Chantal is a Belgian crime drama, comedy television series, which was broadcast from 4 September 2022 by Eyeworks Film and TV Drama. It is a spin-off of Eigen Kweek, which introduced the character of Chantal Vantomme, portrayed by Maaike Cafmeyer. Cafmeyer reprises her role as Chantal, who has been appointed police inspector in the fictitious West Flanders town of Loveringem. She investigates various crimes with assistance from local police officer Rik despite interference from her rival Johnny. Besides acting, Sercu created and wrote the series while Jeroen Dumoulein directed. Chantal's first season of eight episodes was followed by a second season of six episodes from 21 January 2024. The third season was being filmed during 2024.
