The Ventriloquist is an album by Ruby Throat, a musical act consisting of Katiejane Garside (frontwoman of Queen Adreena) and Chris Whittingham. It was released on 8 November 2007 on a limited run of only 500 copies. This consisted of books bound from Indian vintage red leather, the CD in a cloth pocket in the back of the book. Another limited version of 400 copies was released on January 16, 2008, this time in a regular jewelled case and a 4-panel CD booklet. There was a worldwide general release later in 2008, but "Marybell" was replaced on this edition by two new tracks, "Consuela's Newt" and "Boat Song." An official limited edition run of 300 gatefold double vinyl LPs were issued in Spring 2010 by Los Angeles–based label, The Lovers' Will Records & Press. [1] [2]

Michael Rolfe Gira is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, author and artist. Now based in New Mexico, he founded the band Swans, in which he sings and plays guitar, in New York City in the 1980s at the height of the no wave movement. He is also the founder of Young God Records and previously fronted Angels of Light.
Samuel "Sam" Ervin Beam, better known by his stage name Iron & Wine, is an American singer-songwriter. He has released six studio albums, several EPs and singles, as well as a few download-only releases, which include a live album. He occasionally tours with a full band.
A Spy in the House of Love is a 1954 novel by Anaïs Nin. Alongside her other novels, Ladders to Fire, Children of the Albatross, The Four-Chambered Heart and Seduction of the Minotaur, it was gathered into a collection known as Cities of the Interior. Malaika Nakupenda Malaika is a Swahili song written by Kenyan musician [Fadhili Williams]. Many people mistake it to be Malaika song by Tanzanian, Adam Salim of 1945. This song is possibly the most famous of all Swahili love songs in Tanzania, Kenya and the entire East Africa, as well as being one of the most widely known of all Swahili songs in the world. Malaika in this context means "angel" in Swahili, and this word has always been used by the Swahili speakers to refer to a beautiful girl.
Charalambides is an avant garde musical group originally from Houston, Texas, United States and lately of Austin, Texas. Formed in 1991 by Tom Carter, Christina Carter and Kyle Silfer, they have followed in the footsteps of other Texas psychedelic music artists such as the 13th Floor Elevators, and Red Crayola. Later members include Jason Bill and Heather Leigh Murray, but the band has long considered itself primarily a duo between Tom and Christina Carter.

R.E.M. In the Attic – Alternative Recordings 1985–1989 was the fourth R.E.M. compilation released by I.R.S. Records. EMI-Capitol, which acquired the entire I.R.S. Records catalogue upon the label's failure in 1996, released In the Attic in 1997 without the permission of R.E.M. The album failed to chart in the UK, and only reached #185 in the U.S. in its sole week on the chart. Most of the songs had appeared on the European reissues of the band's IRS albums, but this was their first official release in the US. There are two exceptions; these are "Gardening at Night", which was on Eponymous, and "Cant Get There From Here" which was on Singles Collected, both compilations having been released in the U.S.. Although they were also I.R.S. Years bonus tracks, "Crazy" and "Toys in the Attic" had also appeared on the band's b-sides compilation album Dead Letter Office.
Eluvium is the moniker of the American ambient recording artist Matthew Cooper, who resides in Portland, Oregon. Cooper, who was born in Tennessee and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, before relocating to the Northwest, is known for blending various genres of experimental music including electronic, minimalism and drone. His albums often feature artwork and photographs by Jeannie Paske.
Angels is the eighth album by Finnish gothic rock band The 69 Eyes. It is the sequel to the band's 2004 album Devils. The official release date was 5 March 2007. In Finland, though, it was released on 28 February 2007 as a limited edition CD/DVD set.

"Jet Coaster Love" is the third Japanese single of South Korean girl group Kara. The single was originally set to be released on March 23, 2011, but following the 2011 Great Tohoku Earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan, the physical single was rescheduled to April 6, 2011. In order to help out the areas affected by the disaster, the group had decided to donate all proceeds from the sales of this single, both physical and digital, to relief efforts. It eventually became the group's first single to reach #1 on Oricon Daily and Weekly charts.

She is known for her variegated musical projects encompassing numerous genres such as noise rock, alternative metal, acoustic, and neofolk, and vocals that range from childlike whispers to harsh scream singing. The London Evening Standard once described her as "one of the scariest women in alternative music."
"Dear J" is the debut solo single released by former AKB48 member Tomomi Itano. It was released in four versions: three regular CD+DVD editions and a limited theater CD-only edition. First pressings of the regular editions came with a photo and an application card for tickets to a debut commemoration event, while all theater editions came with a handshake event ticket and a photo. The title track was used as a Samantha Thavasa TV commercial song. The second track of the theater edition, "Tsundere!", is from Team A's 5th stage. The original was sung by Itano, Rie Kitahara, and Amina Sato, while the "Dear J" version was sung by Itano and the members of the AKB48 unit Natto Angels Z. Itano was a member of its original unit, Natto Angels. The single reached number 2 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 24 weeks.
Geiger Counter is the debut album of Liar, Flower, a musical project formed by English singer-songwriter KatieJane Garside and American guitarist Chris Whittingham, who have also released material as the duo Ruby Throat. Its title refers to a Geiger counter, an instrument used to detect ionizing radiation. The album was released in April 2020 by One Little Independent Records.
