Angela is a Japanese band, notable for having their music portrayed as theme songs for several anime television shows. The main members are Atsuko and Katsu. Their signature upbeat tunes and rich arrangements combine elements of rock, electronica, jazz and ska. In 2008, they started an alter ego band called Domestic Love Band (ドメスティック・ラヴバンド). They are most well known for providing all opening and ending themes to the Fafner in the Azure anime series.

Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town, abbreviated as LasDan, is a Japanese light novel series written by Toshio Satō and illustrated by Nao Watanuki. SB Creative released fifteen volumes under their GA Bunko label from February 2017 to July 2022. The light novel is licensed in North America by Yen Press and the English translation is done by Andrew Cunningham. A manga adaptation with art by Hajime Fusemachi has been serialized online since September 2017 via Square Enix's online manga magazine Gangan Online. It has been collected in ten tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation by Liden Films aired from January to March 2021.

The show features voice actors, who have appeared in various anime and video game series, participating in acting scenarios, quizzes, and talk segments. The show has been running since April 2018 and celebrated its 1,000th episode run in 2021.

A spin-off novel focusing on another version of Shiori Satō in another parallel world, titled Boku ga Kimi no Namae wo Yobukara, was released in Japan on August 10, 2022. Two anime films based on the novels were also simultaneously released in Japan on October 7, 2022. Seven Seas Entertainment released the English version of the novels in North America on June 6, 2023.
The Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen is a Japanese Shinkansen high-speed rail line on the northwest part of Kyushu Island that is operated by the Kyushu Railway Company. A segment of the line that connects Nagasaki to Takeo-Onsen commenced service on 23 September 2022. The line runs parallel to the existing Nagasaki Main Line and has a total length of 66 kilometers (41 mi), making it the shortest high-speed Shinkansen railway line in Japan in terms of length.
