Theodoros Veniamis is a Greek shipowner and ex president of the Greek Union of Shipowners (Enosi Ellinon Efopliston). [2] [3]

He is owner and president of Golden Union.

He was included in the Lloyd's List "One Hundred Most Influential People in the Shipping Industry" list ranking 38th in 2020, [4] 32nd in 2019, [5] 43rd in 2018, [6] 53rd in 2016, [7] 48th in 2015, [8] 48th in 2014, [9] 51st in 2013 [10] and 75th in 2012 [11]

Greece was the 16th member state of the European Union, the 21st country in Europe and the 36th in the world to allow same-sex couples to marry.

Greece has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 44 times since its debut in 1974, missing six contests in that time. Greece's first win came in 2005 with "My Number One", sung by Helena Paparizou.
