Thomas Finstad (born 10 January 1978) is a retired Norwegian footballer. He plays as a striker.
He started his career by IL Jutul and joined 1994 to Bærum SK. It followed short spells for Stabæk and Strømsgodset before rejoining Bærum in 2008. In his comeback-season for Bærum he scored 10 goals. [1]

Finstad's Auto Marine Shop is a former boat repair shop in Ranier, Minnesota, United States. It was built in 1911 on the south shore of Rainy Lake, and preserves its original belt-driven machinery. George Finstad acquired the shop in 1924 and continued to provide maintenance and storage services for fishermen, residents, and vacationers there for just over fifty years. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 for its local significance in the themes of entertainment/recreation and transportation. It was nominated for its association with the early tourists and summer residents of the Rainy Lake region, a significant factor in Koochiching County's early-20th-century development.
The Bærum mosque shooting or Al-Noor Islamic Centre shooting occurred on 10 August 2019 at the Al-Noor Islamic Centre mosque in Bærum, Norway, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of the capital city Oslo. Philip Manshaus, a 21-year-old Norwegian man, shot and killed his ethnically Chinese adopted stepsister at their home. He then drove to the mosque and shot his way through the glass door before opening fire, hitting no one. He was subdued by three worshippers after a scuffle and turned over to police. Manshaus was convicted of murder and committing an act of terrorism, and sentenced to 21 years preventative detention – an order which, in Norway, can be extended indefinitely.
