Thomas or Tom Proctor may refer to:
Thomas Proctor or Thomas Procter commanded the 4th Continental Artillery Regiment during the American Revolutionary War. He was born in County Longford, Ireland, emigrated to British America, married in 1767 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and joined the carpenter's guild in 1772. Receiving a commission as an artillery captain in October 1775, he proceeded to raise a company of Pennsylvania state artillery. After a second company was recruited, Proctor was promoted to major and both companies joined George Washington's army. Proctor led his gunners at Princeton in January 1777. The state authorities elevated Proctor to the rank of colonel and charged him to recruit an eight-company Pennsylvania State Artillery Regiment a month later.
Thomas F. Proctor is an American trainer of Thoroughbred racehorses who won the 1994 edition of the Breeders' Cup Distaff with One Dreamer. The son of renowned trainer Willard Proctor, Thomas began his training career in 1978 at Hollywood Park Racetrack.
Tom Proctor is an American actor.
Thomas R. Proctor High School is a public high school within the Utica City School District in Utica, New York. The school was built in the early 1930s with funds from the U.S. Works Progress Administration and Thomas R. Proctor. It opened its doors in September 1936. The school is located within Oneida County. The current school principal is Josh Gifford. The school is the only public high school in Utica due to the closing of Utica Free Academy in 1990. There are currently about 200 full-time teachers and around 3,500 students.
