Club

Molde FK

On 23 March 2016 Ekpe joined Molde FK on a three-year contract. [1]

On 26 July 2016, Ekpe joined Kristiansund BK on loan for the rest of the 2016 season. [2] Ekpe returned to Kristiansund on 9 March 2017 on loan until 31 July 2017. [3]

Arendal

On 19 July 2017, Ekpe moved to Arendal on a permanent transfer. [4] Ekpe left the club at the end of the 2018 season. [5]

They finished second in the Eliteserien, whilst the Norwegian Cup and Mesterfinalen where cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway. In Europe, Molde where knocked out of the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League by Ferencváros dropping into the Europa League where they progressed to the Round of 32 which will take place in the 2021 season.

The 2019 season was Mjøndalen IF's first season back in the Eliteserien since 2015.

The 2021 season is Molde's 14th consecutive year in Eliteserien, and their 45th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They will also compete in the Norwegian Cup and Europa League and the Europa Conference League.
