The Thoona Football Club was an Australian rules football club which competed in the numerous Associations and Leagues since 1885.
The club was based in the North Eastern town of Thoona, Victoria, Australia.
Thoona was first officially formed on 25 April 1885 at Warrington's Commercial Hotel in Thoona. [1]
Their first game was played against Benalla on 4 July 1885.
The Club colours were first red and white vertical strips with a green sash before changing to a maroon with a blue sash.

Benalla is a small city located on the Broken River gateway to the High Country north-eastern region of Victoria, Australia, about 212 kilometres (130 mi) north east of the state capital Melbourne. At the 2021 census the population was 9,316.
The club is currently part of the Kyabram District Football and Netball League (KDFNL) and has four football teams: Seniors, Reserves, Under 18's and Under 14's.
