Vallensbæk Municipality is a municipality in the Capital Region of Denmark on Zealand. It is part of the Greater Copenhagen area and consist primarily of the suburb of Vallensbæk. It is one of the smallest municipalities in Denmark in terms of area. Vallensbæk Municipality borders the municipalities of Ishøj, Høje-Taastrup, Albertslund and Brøndby. It borders Køge Bay, and the Køge Bay Beach Park along the coast. The suburb of Vallensbæk consists of two sections, not directly connected to each other: Vallensbæk Nordmark in the north and Vallensbæk Strand in the south. The two parts of the town are commonly referred to together as Vallensbæk. The only other settlement in the municipality is the village of Vallensbæk Landsby.
Until January 1, 2007 Rudkøbing Municipality was a municipality in the former Funen County, on the central parts of the island of Langeland. It also included the islands of Strynø, Strynø Kalv and a number of small uninhabited islands. The municipality covered an area of 62.94 km2, and had a total population of 6,647 (2006). Its last mayor was Johan Norden, a member of the Social Democrats political party.
Until 1 January 2007 Tranekær Municipality was a municipality in the former Funen County, on the northern parts of the island of Langeland. It also included the island of Siø. The municipality covered an area of 107.45 km2, and had a total population of 3,439 (2006). Its last mayor was Jørgen Nielsen, a member of the Venstres political party.
Nyborg Municipality is a municipality in Region of Southern Denmark on the east coast of the island of Funen in central Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 278 km2, and has a total population of 32,262 (2023). It borders Kerteminde Municipality to the north-west, Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality to the south-west, Svendborg Municipality to the south and is connected to Slagelse Municipality by the Great Belt Bridge. Its mayor is Kenneth Muhs, a member of the Venstre political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Nyborg.
Samsø Municipality is a municipality in Region of Central Denmark. Samsø municipality covers an area of 115 km2 in the Kattegat sea, between the Danish mainland of Jutland and Zealand and comprises the island of Samsø as well as a number of small surrounding islands. The mayor has since 2014 been Marcel Meijer, a member of the Social Democrats political party. The seat of the municipal council is the town of Tranebjerg.
Odder Municipality is a municipality in the Central Denmark Region on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in Central Denmark south of Aarhus. It is a part of the greater Aarhus area. The municipality covers an area of 225.04 km², including the islands of Alrø and Tunø. It borders Aarhus Municipality to the north, Skanderborg Municipality to the north-west and Horsens Municipality to the west. It also connects to Hedensted Municipality across Horsens Fjord to the south, and connects to Samsø Municipality through a ferry route.
Jammerbugt Municipality is a municipality in the North Jutland Region on the North Jutlandic Island. It is located along the coast of Skagerrak to the north and the Limfjord to the south. It borders the municipalities of Thisted, Vesthimmerland, Aalborg, Brønderslev and Hjørring.

Rødovre is a town in eastern Denmark, seat of the Rødovre Municipality, in the Region Hovedstaden. The town's population 1 January 2019 was 39,907, and in addition 145 persons had no fixed address, which made up a total of 40,052 in the municipality as a whole. Rødovre is part of the urban area of Copenhagen.

The municipality covered an area of 289.65 km2, and had a total population of 8,397 (2006). Its last mayor was Otto Kjær Larsen, a member of the Venstre political party.
Liseleje is a former fishing village and popular tourist resort in Halsnæs Municipality, North Zealand, some 60 kilometres northwest of Copenhagen, Denmark. The original village is surrounded by extensive areas of summerhouses. It has merged with neighbouring Asserbo, forming an urban area with a combined population of 2,507.
Nicolai Halby Wammen is a Danish politician of the Social Democrats who has been serving as Minister for Finance in the government of Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen since 2019. A native and lifelong resident of Denmark's second-largest city, Aarhus, he served as mayor. On the national level, he has served as Minister of European Affairs (2011–2013) and as Minister of Defence (2013–2015).
Silkeborg Museum is a museum of Danish cultural history with official state recognition based in Silkeborg Municipality, Denmark. Museum Silkeborg is located at three different sites: Manor House (Hovedgården) and the Paper Mill Museum (Papirmuseet) in Silkeborg and Blicheregnen farm in the village of Thorning.
Skæring Hede or Skæring Mindelund is a forest and memorial park in Skæring, the northernmost suburb of Aarhus, Denmark. Skæring Hede was originally a large heath but today only a fraction of it remains as encroaching suburbs and areas with summer houses have gradually taken over much of the natural land in the area, through the 70s and 80s. The remaining area of 8.5 hectares are mainly forest, although some heath do remain, and is managed as a public forest park by Aarhus Municipality. Today Skæring Hede is one of only a few public forests in Skæring and the northernmost park in Aarhus. The forest is mainly mixed pine and birch forest with a number of walking paths crossing through it and it is home to a World War II memorial. Skæring Hede is well known as the place where five Danish resistance fighters were executed during the Second World War in one of the first mass executions during the war. The 3 kulimetre long street runs from Frederikssundsvej in the south to the municipal border with Gladsaxe Municipality in the north where it splits into Søborg Hovedgade and Vangedevej.

Vind is a village in Denmark, located about 14 km (8.7 mi) south of Holstebro. The town is the westernmost settlement in Herning Municipality, and is therefore a part of the Central Denmark Region. It has a population of 207. Between 1970 and 2006, Vind was part of Trehøje Municipality.

Karup River is a river in central Jutland, Denmark. Prior to 1970, it formed the border between the Viborg and Ringkjøbing counties. Karup River is Denmark's sixth largest river. A 500-hectare area along the river, spanning 20 kilometers between Karup and Hagebro, was protected in 1964, and the entire stretch from Karup to Skive, a total of 1,008 hectares, is now a European Union Special Area of Conservation.
