Emerson Henrique Alves (born 12 December 1976), better known as Tico, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a forward.
Formed at Uberlândia EC, [1] Tico was part of the 1997 Copa Libertadores champion squad with Cruzeiro EC. [2] He played for several clubs in Brazil.
In 2002, he was almost mistakenly hired by Coritiba FBC, which was targeting Tico Mineiro as a reinforcement. [3]
