Tilt (previously known as Tilt.tv) is a Finnishvideo gaming programme aired primarily on MTV3. It started out in 1997 on MTV3 and was also seen on Sub, Jim, Fox and briefly on Nelonen. Currently the programme is aired on Kutonen. Tilt.tv was originally hosted by Jaana Pelkonen, who more recently hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki together with Mikko Leppilampi. After Pelkonen the host was Anna-Maija Jalkanen[fi] from 2005 to the spring of 2007 after Jalkanen the host was Kristiina Wheeler from 2007 to 2008, and after Wheeler the host was Anni Uusivirta[fi] from 2011 to 2013. The current host is Martina Kuitto. Simo Kurki hosted alongside Kuitto from 2013 to 2015. The show has had continuing success and has been exported to Poland and other countries.
At times the show has gathered mixed feelings amongst gaming fans and there have been grumblings about the program being biased (Tilt.tv has at various times been sponsored by both Sony, Nintendo and Electronic Arts; currently it is sponsored by EA) and having hosts that generally have no gaming background. On the other hand the current host Wheeler has been working in game retail, in addition to being a musician. Tilt.tv regardless remains Finland's only steadily running gaming show, especially after the collapse of MoonTV. Tilt.tv has been running continuously for over 20 years, which sets it to compete for the title of the longest running gaming TV show in the world.
The magazine Tilt-lehti also had a brief run. It was aimed for a more mature audience than the TV program, but in the end it did not manage to find its core audience. The magazine was cancelled after one year, after failing to compete with bigger and better known Finnish gaming magazines such as Pelit and Pelaaja. Tilt.tv website provides a review archive, streaming version of the TV program episodes dating back several years, browser games, forum, blogs and a real-time chat.
The Price Is Right is an American television game show where contestants compete by guessing the prices of merchandise to win cash and prizes. A 1972 revival by Mark Goodson, and Bill Todman of their 1956–1965 show of the same name, the new version added many distinctive gameplay elements. Contestants are selected from the studio audience: the announcer calls their name, invoking them to "Come on down!", the show's famous catchphrase.
Yleisradio Oy, abbreviated as Yle, translated into English as the Finnish Broadcasting Company, is Finland's national public broadcasting company, founded in 1926. MTV3 is a Finnish commercial television channel owned and operated by the media company MTV Oy, originally launched in 13 August 1957 as a programming block and it came to be launched on 1 January 1993 as its own channel. It had the biggest audience share of all Finnish TV channels until Yle TV1 took the lead. MTV actually stands for Mainos-TV, due to the channel carrying advertising for revenue. Number 3 was added later, when the channel was allocated the third nationwide television channel and it generally became known as "Channel Three"—Finnish Broadcasting Company's Yle TV1 and Yle TV2 being the first two—and also to distinguish it from the later MTV Finland, which is a Finnish version of Paramount's MTV channel. From 1957 until 2001, the channel's logo was a stylised owl, changed to an owl's eye after an image renewal in 2001, which was then used until 2013. MTV3 has about 500 employees. It is also known as Maikkari. From 1986 to 1993, Kolmoskanava was a precursor to MTV3. It was shut down at midnight on December 31, and MTV3 immediatly started broadcasting.
Television was introduced in Finland in 1955. Color television started in 1969 and was introduced gradually, with most programs in color by the late 1970s. All terrestrial analogue stations stopped broadcasting on 1 September 2007 after the introduction of digital television; cable providers were allowed to continue analog broadcasting in their networks until 1 March 2008.
MoonTV was a free Finnish cable network channel. It started off as a channel for programmes about computer and video games but later grew into a channel covering several areas of youth culture. In its prime it was the first interactive TV channel in the world. At its best MoonTV could reach 1.3 million potential viewers in the 12 biggest cities across Finland. In 2003 the channel was shut down after the company that owned it filed for bankruptcy.

Muodin huipulle is Finland's version of the American reality television series Project Runway. The show aired on Finland's MTV3 from 2009 to 2011. In February 2023, over a decade after its second season, the series returned for a third season with a new judging panel and mentor.
Taavi Vartia is a Finnish Film director, script writer and writer. Taavi Vartia has since 1990 planned, directed and produced programmes for all of Finland's national television channels: YLE TV1, YLE TV2, MTV3 and Nelonen, across a range of genres including drama, entertainment, music, profiles and documentaries. He has been involved in the production of over 1100 episodes. Vartia has also written and directed several company- and image videos for Finnish companies. In recent years he has received recognition as a writer of young adult dramas and as a documentary film maker. Vartia has published four novels. Vartia founded Taaborin kesäteatteri/ Taabori Summer Theater in Nurmijärvi 2009 and started to run the movie theatre Kino Juha 2019.

Jyrki is a Finnish music television program that aired on the MTV3 channel from 1995 to 2001. It was an afternoon program about popular music for youths. The idea for the program came from the Canadian MuchMusic program by the CHUM network, whose material Jyrki borrowed and cooperated with to improve the concept. Jyrki was produced by Funny-Films Oy.

The song was performed by Sandhja. The Finnish broadcaster Yleisradio (Yle) organised the national final Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2016 in order to select the Finnish entry for the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. 18 entries were selected to compete in the national final, which consisted of three semi-finals and a final, taking place in February 2016. Six entries competed in each semi-final and the top three from each semi-final, as selected solely by a public vote, advanced to the final. Nine entries competed in the final on 27 February where the 50/50 combination of votes from ten jury groups representing different factions of Finnish society and votes from the public selected "Sing It Away" performed by Sandhja as the winner.
Kymppitonni is a Finnish television and radio game show format, created by Spede Pasanen which has been featured on Finnish networks since 1985. The show was hosted by beauty queen Riitta Väisänen during its first three runs and by Cristal Snow in its current iteration. Pasanen developed the programme specifically in order to promote Väisänen. Väisänen achieved five consecutive Telvis Awards for Best Female Performer, for her appearances on the show between 1986 and 1990.
