Tingaki is a village located on the Greek island of Kos, situated by the sea.
Tingaki is located approximately 10 kilometers west of Kos Town. It is about 1.5 kilometers from the main connecting road between Kos and Kefalos. The Kos Airport in Andimachia is about twelve kilometers away by air. In the south, the nearest villages are Marmari, Zipari, and Linopotis, while in the southwest lies Pyli, and to the west is Mastichari. Tingaki is approximately 150 meters from the village center to the sea, and about 400 meters to the Alykes saltwater lake. To the north, about 3.5 kilometers away, are the islands of Pserimos and the uninhabited island of Platy.
Tingaki is connected to Kos and Kefalos, as well as the villages in between, by bus routes.
Tingaki is part of the municipal unit of Dikeos. The municipal unit of Dikeos is divided into two municipal districts (Asfendio and Pyli) with eight villages. [1]
Dikeos was home to 7,130 people as of 2011. Within the municipal district of Asfendio (Δημοτική Κοινότητα Ασφενδιού), 4,094 people lived in 2011, with 363 residing in Tigaki. [2]

Alykes Salt Lake is easily accessible by vehicle, and some structures from the former salt production site are preserved. Tingaki Beach and Lambi Beach are popular sandy beaches. [5]
Kos or Cos is a Greek island, part of the Dodecanese island chain in the southeastern Aegean Sea. Aitoliko is a town and a former municipality in Aetolia-Acarnania, West Greece, Greece. It is located north of the Acheloos delta. The Greek National Road 5/E55 passes through the municipal unit. It is located SW of Agrinion, about 20 km NW of Messolonghi, W of Nafpaktos and the Rio-Antirrio bridge and SE of Astakos. Until it became a part of Greece, it was known as Anatoliko (Ανατολικό), meaning eastern.
Litochoro is a town and a former municipality in the southern part of the Pieria regional unit, Macedonia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it has been part of the Dio-Olympos municipality, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. It is located at the base of Mount Olympus, on the western shore of the Thermaic Gulf. The first recorded mention of Litochoro is in an account of a visit by Saint Dionysius to Mount Olympus in the 16th century. The town is a popular destination for those wishing to climb Mount Olympus as almost all climbing routes begin to the southwest of the town. One of the most famous Litohorians was Christos Kakkalos, who first ascended first Mount Olympus in 1913.

Marmari is a village and a former municipality in Euboea, Greece, in the southeastern end of the island. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Karystos, of which it is a municipal unit. Marmari has an area of 241.332 km2. The Greek National Road 44 runs through it and there are ferry routes with the mainland port of Rafina. The mountains dominate the east. Its main economy are local businesses and agriculture. Marmari is located southeast of Chalkida, east of Rafina and west of Karystos.
Paralimni is a town within the Famagusta District of Cyprus, situated on the island's east coast. Since the Turkish invasion in 1974, it has increased in size and status, primarily due to the migration of refugees fleeing from the north. Kefalos (Κέφαλος) is the westernmost town on the Greek island of Kos, 43 km from Kos Town. It is situated on a peninsula, also known as Kefalos, at the south-west side of the island. The town is built on a stone height, dominated by the imposing windmill of Papavasilis and is home to 2,156 inhabitants.
Alikanas is a village in the municipal unit of Alykes situated on the northeastern coast about 15 km northwest of Zakynthos (city) on the island of Zakynthos, Greece. It is situated 1 km (0.6 mi) from the neighbouring village of Alykes, on the Ionian coast. Alikanas/Alykanas is a very well known tourist destination. People from all over the world are visiting Alikanas/Alykanas in the summer. It has a beautiful sandy wide beach On the beach of Alykanas you can find the lily of the sea, protected by Greek and International legislation. The famous caretta caretta might be seen sometimes in these waters, even though they prefer less populated areas.
Dikaios is a former municipality on the island of Kos, in the Dodecanese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Kos, of which it is a municipal unit. Population 7,130 (2011). The seat of the municipality was in Zipari. The other large town is Pyli. The municipal unit, which comprises about one-fifth of the island's territory, has a land area of 62.575 km². It shares the island of Kos with the municipal units of Kos and Irakleides.
Irakleides is a former municipality on the island of Kos, in the Dodecanese, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Kos, of which it is a municipal unit. Population 6,826 (2011). It is the largest in area of the three municipal units on the island, at 160.538 km², and comprises 55.3% of the island's territory. The seat of the municipality was in Antimacheia. The largest village is Kefalos (2,156). Kardamaina (1,650), Mastichari (470), Kampos (228), Onia (100), and Kamarion (154) are the other villages in the municipal unit. It shares the island of Kos with the municipal units of Kos and Dikaios.
Pythagoreio is a town and municipal unit on the island of Samos, North Aegean, Greece. Before the 2011 local government reform, Pythagoreio was a municipality. Since 2019, it is a municipal unit of East Samos. In 2011, the town's population was 7,996. It is the largest municipal unit in land area on Samos, at 164.662 km2 (63.576 sq mi). It shares the island with the municipal units of Vathy, Karlovasi, and Marathokampos. The archaeological remains in the town, known collectively as Pythagoreion, has designated a joint UNESCO World Heritage Site with nearby Heraion.

Katastari is a village and a community in the Alykes municipal unit of the island Zakynthos, Greece. It is situated at the foot of the Vrachionas mountain, 2 km from the Ionian Sea coast. It is located 13 kilometers northwest of Zakynthos City and 10 km southeast of Volimes. In 2011, the population of Katastari was 1,378 inhabitants.
Nikiti is a village located 100 kilometers south-east of Thessaloniki on the Chalkidiki peninsula in Macedonia, Greece. It is the seat of both the municipal unit and municipality of Sithonia. The town has a preserved old part of town. The newer part of town is located on the seashore, where the beach and newly built marina are located.
Mastichari or Mastihari is a fishing village and tourist resort on the island of Kos in Greece with a population of 470, situated 7 kilometers away from Kos International Airport. The town has a port with boats regularly departing to the island of Kalymnos. Mastihari has only been inhabited since 1933, when an earthquake struck a nearby village and the inhabitants had to migrate.
Great Sand is a Greek beach in the island of Evia, the second biggest island of Greece. The beach is in the South part of Evia and specifically in the southwest part of a small village called Marmari, opposite of Athens, the capital of Greece. Except of the name “Great Sand”, it is also well known as “Golden Sand”.
