Tinitus was a metal show in Norway that was broadcast on Norwegian national radio, NRK P3 from 20:00 to 22:00 on Wednesday nights from 2005 to 2009. It showcased both Norwegian and international heavy metal talent and it was hosted by Kirsti Thisland Eggum and produced by Patrizia Pelgrift (nee' Mazzuoccolo).

Norsktoppen was a musical hit list at NRK Radio, originally playing songs exclusively by Norwegian artists. Until 1986, the songs had to be in the Norwegian language. Norsktoppen started airing in 1973, once a week. Norsktoppen was canceled on 1 January 2009. This decision—to close down the show as outdated—raised some public debate, including an interpellation in the Storting raised by representative Ulf Erik Knudsen to the minister of culture. As only songs with Norwegian artists were included, Norsktoppen came to be an important tool for the Norwegian recording industry.

Kill Buljo is a 2007 Norwegian black comedy film directed by Tommy Wirkola. It parodies the 2003 Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill. It is set in Finnmark, Norway and portrays the protagonist Jompa Tormann's hunt for Tampa and Papa Buljo. The film depends heavily on satirizing stereotypes about Norway's Sami population.

Odd Grenland, Sandefjord and Start entered as the three promoted teams from the 2008 1. divisjon. They replaced HamKam who were relegated to the 2009 1. divisjon.

The 2014 Tippeligaen was the 70th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 28 March 2014, two weeks later than in the previous season. A three-week summer-break in June was scheduled due to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the decisive match was played on 9 November 2014. Strømsgodset were the defending champions. Bodø/Glimt and Stabæk joined as the promoted clubs from the 2013 1. divisjon. They replaced Tromsø and Hønefoss who were relegated to the 2014 1. divisjon.
