Tipiqucha (Quechua tipi Pennisetum clandestinum [2] (a grass species), tipiy to husk maize, to snap, to break, qucha lake, [3] Hispanicized spelling Tipiccocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Ayacucho Region, Parinacochas Province, Coracora District. [4] It is situated at a height of about 4,466 metres (14,652 ft). Tipiqucha lies between the lakes Islaqucha and Pukaqucha in the west and the lake Parququcha in the east, near the mountains Puka Punchu ("red poncho", Puca Punchu), Waman Pirqa ("falcon wall", Huaman Pirca) and Quriwiri ("gold lasso", Ccorihuiri).

Sawaqucha lies northeast of the lakes named Yawriwiri, Urqunqucha and Kunturqucha, northwest of Tipiqucha, Pukaqucha, another lake named Urqunqucha and Islaqucha, and north of Lake Apiñaccocha.

Quri Punchu or is a mountain in the Andes of Peru, about 4,400 metres (14,436 ft) high. It is situated in the Ayacucho Region, Lucanas Province, Puquio District. Quri Punchu lies southeast of two larger lakes named Apiñaqucha and Pukaqucha.

Tipiqucha (Junín)

Tipiqucha is a lake in the Junín Region in Peru. It located in the Jauja Province, Apata District, near a populated place of that name.
