Tizzard Island is an uninhabited island in Chincoteague Bay. The island is within the borders of Worcester County in the state of Maryland. [1] Several structures exist on Tizzard Island, though none of them are inhabited and many of them are decaying. [2]

It is part of the Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town is located on Fenwick Island, a barrier spit.
Pocomoke City, dubbed "the friendliest town on the Eastern Shore", is a city in Worcester County, Maryland, United States. Although renamed in a burst of civic enthusiasm in 1878, the city is regularly referred to by its inhabitants simply as Pocomoke. The population was 4,184 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. Pocomoke City is a center for commerce on the lower shore, home to an industrial park currently playing host to defense contractors, aerospace engineering, and plastics fabrication. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge is a major dual-span bridge in the U.S. state of Maryland. Spanning the Chesapeake Bay, it connects the state's rural Eastern Shore region with the urban Western Shore, between Stevensville and the capital city of Annapolis. The original span, opened in 1952 and with a length of 4.3 miles (6.9 km), was the world's longest continuous over-water steel structure. The parallel span was added in 1973. The bridge is officially named the Gov. William Preston Lane Jr. Memorial Bridge after William Preston Lane Jr. who, as the 52nd Governor of Maryland, initiated its construction in the late 1940s finally after decades of political indecision and public controversy.
The Isles of Notre Dame, formerly called Twillingate and Fogo, is a defunct provincial electoral district for the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. As of 2011 the district had 6,990 eligible voters. The district was abolished in 2015 and largely replaced by Lewisporte-Twillingate.
Assateague State Park is a public recreation area in Worcester County, Maryland, USA,, located at the north end of Assateague Island, a barrier island bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and Sinepuxent Bay on the west. The state park is bordered on both its north and south sides by Assateague Island National Seashore and is reached via the Verrazano Bridge which carries Maryland Route 611 across Sinepuxent Bay. The park offers wildlife viewing, beach activities, and camping facilities. It is managed by the Maryland Park Service of the larger Maryland Department of Natural Resources with the support of volunteers working under the auspices of the non-profit Friends of Assateague State Park.

Colin Tizzard is a British racehorse trainer specializing in National Hunt racing. He has held a full training licence since 1998. In 2010 Tizzard trained Cue Card to victory in the Cheltenham Festival Champion Bumper. In 2014 Tizzard trained Cue Card to victory in the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. In the 2015 King George VI Chase he trained Cue Card to victory. At the 2016 Cheltenham Festival Thistlecrack won the World Hurdle to give Tizzard his first success in that race. At the 2018 Cheltenham Festival, Tizzard trained the winner in the Cheltenham Gold Cup Native River, as well as the winner of the Albert Bartlett Novice's Hurdle Kilbricken Storm.
