William Tarlton "Todd" Turner is a former athletic director of the University of Washington.
Turner was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Ohio University. [1]
Upon graduating from Ohio University, Turner accepted a position as Athletic Ticket Manager at the University of Virginia where he worked for 11 years in various roles before accepting an athletic director (AD) position at the University of Connecticut from 1987 to 1990. He left the institution in 1990 to accept a similar position at N.C. State. [2] He remained at N.C. State until 1996. He served as AD at Vanderbilt University from 1997 until 2003. Turner became AD at the University of Washington in July, 2004 and resigned from his AD position at the University of Washington in 2008 after three-and-a-half-years. [3] After a brief stint with collegiate sports multi-media rights company, International Sports Properties (ISP), in 2010 Turner founded Collegiate Sports Associates, a leading consulting and executive search firm serving intercollegiate athletics. He is also co-founder with his son Drew Turner of Collegiate Sports Connect an online platform used by universities to identify and hire collegiate athletics administrators.
Turner and his wife Sara Newbold, who is also from Raleigh, have four children together. [1]
An athletic director is an administrator at many American clubs or institutions, such as colleges and universities, as well as in larger high schools and middle schools, who oversees the work of coaches and related staff involved in athletic programs.
Herman Ronald "Herm" Frazier is a retired American sprinter. He won gold medals in the 4×400 m relay at the 1976 Olympics and 1975 and 1979 Pan American Games. Individually he earned a bronze medal in the 400 m event at the 1976 Olympics. He served as chef de mission of the 2004 U.S. Olympic team and as the Athletic Director at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Hawaii. Kirby Hocutt is the athletic director at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and the Big 12 representative to the College Football Playoff committee. Lew Perkins is a former athletic director, ending his 40-year career at the University of Kansas. Perkins joined KU in June 2003, taking over for Al Bohl. Perkins previously held similar positions with the University of Connecticut, University of Maryland, College Park, Wichita State University and University of South Carolina Aiken where he gained a reputation for successfully cleaning up schools suffering under NCAA violations. Under Perkins direction, the athletics program at KU had several successful seasons, including winning the 2008 Orange Bowl in football and the 2008 Men's Basketball Championship. His tenure, though, ultimately ended in scandal and early retirement in 2010.
Deborah Ann Yow is an American college sports administrator and former college basketball coach. She was the director of athletics at North Carolina State University, and held the same position at the University of Maryland and Saint Louis University. She previously served as the head coach of the women's basketball teams of the University of Kentucky, Oral Roberts University, and the University of Florida.

The NC State Wolfpack men's soccer team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. The team is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. NC State's first men's soccer team was fielded in 1950. He also served as associate athletic director at Wake Forest University from 1993 to 2001 and assistant athletic director at Illinois State University from 1992 to 1993. From 1990 to 1991 he was athletic development assistant at Northern Illinois University. He is an alumnus of Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he played football and baseball and earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees.
