Tollywood Squares is the official Telugu version of Hollywood Squares . This is the first time internationally successful Hollywood Squares format was adapted in an Indian language. It was produced by VIU for Telecast on the Star Maa Telugu Channel, and it is also available on Viu digital platform.

The first season (26 Episodes) was hosted by the Telugu actor/host Navdeep and was directed by Hemant Apte. [1] [2]

Navdeep Pallapolu is an Indian actor and television personality who appears in Telugu films along with Tamil films. He made his film debut in 2004 with the patriotic sports drama Jai. He starred in films such as Arinthum Ariyamalum (2005), Gowtam SSC (2005), Chandamama (2007), and Arya 2 (2009). His other prominent supporting roles include Baadshah (2013), Dhruva (2016), Nene Raju Nene Mantri (2017), and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo (2020).

Nerella Venu Madhav was an Indian impressionist and ventriloquist. He rose to popularity imitating celebrities, politicians, local dialects, Nizams and was the first to perform at the United Nations headquarters. Yagam is a 2010 Telugu film, directed by P.A. Arun Prasad starring Navdeep, Bhumika Chawla and Kim Sharma. The film was partially re-shot and released in Tamil as Sinam with scenes of Sathyaraj and Sathyan added in. The Tamil version released on 3 February 2012.
