Tom Sharpe is an American born musician, composer and recording artist who is principal performer and artistic director of the Sharpe World Music Ensemble. [1] He is best known as the drummer for the Grammy award-winning group, Mannheim Steamroller, [2] as well as Dennis DeYoung, [3] a founding member of the rock band Styx.

The title track of his debut CD Like Setting Myself on Fire was voted Grand Prize Winner - World Music Song of the Year by the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. [4] "Trance-formation”, another album track, received honors as one of three finalists in the same category.

On October 28, 2014, Sharpe released his second solo CD Lifting the World via Marathon Records.

Sharpe is an alumnus of the Interlochen Arts Academy [5] and holds the degrees Bachelor of Music and Master of Music from DePaul University in Chicago. [6]

Tom Sharpe is endorsed and represented by the Yamaha Corporation of America, [7] Sabian Cymbals, [8] Vater Sticks and Mallets, [9] Aquarian Drum Heads, [10] Black Swamp Percussion, [11] HipTrix Glowing Percussion, [12] the Illinois Arts Council, [13] and Urban Gateways Center for Arts Education. [14]

Sharpe currently resides in Oswego, Illinois, [15] but grew up in Romeo, Michigan. [16]

Joe Bergamini is a drummer from New Jersey in the United States. He is the co-founder of the instrumental progressive rock band 4Front. 4Front's other founder, guitarist/songwriter Zak Rizvi, went on to become a member of the classic rock group Kansas in 2016. Since 2000 Bergamini has been a member of progressive rock band Happy the Man, and appears on their 2005 album The Muse Awakens. In 2003 Bergamini began working on Broadway, with his first show being the New York and national tour productions of the Billy Joel musical Movin' Out, and has also performed at the Broadway productions of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, School of Rock: The Musical, Rock of Ages, In The Heights, The Lion King, Jersey Boys, Pippin (revival), Jesus Christ Superstar (revival), Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and Million Dollar Quartet. In addition to performing with Billy Joel himself at Movin' Out, Bergamini has also performed with Bumblefoot, Dennis DeYoung and Deborah Gibson. Lucky Lehrer is a drummer from Los Angeles, California associated with several influential LA punk rock bands. He was originally trained in jazz then played in a number of LA punk rock bands, particularly the Circle Jerks, Redd Kross, Bad Religion, Darby Crash Band and LA's Wasted Youth, among others. Lehrer also appeared in three notable documentary films charting the punk rock music scene. He is the brother of LA's Wasted Youth guitarist Chett Lehrer. Lehrer also teaches drums, with notable students being future Bad Religion drummers Pete Finestone and Bobby Schayer. He was an early developer of hardcore punk drumming and he has been called the "Godfather of hardcore drumming". Lehrer was voted the best punk drummer of all-time by fanzine Flipside.

He also has been the senior audio director for Bally Technologies and Scientific Games in Las Vegas, Nevada from 2010 to 2020.
