Career

Tony Babalu began his career in the 1970s as guitarist of the Made in Brazil band. [1]

Babalu created the funk-rock band Bem Nascidos e Mal Criados. [2]

In 2003, Babalu recorded his first instrumental work, the CD "Balada na Noite".

Between 2005 and 2007, Babalu was responsible for directing and producing the CDs "Noite Proibida" (Marise Marra) and "Maga Lieri" (Maga Lieri), both released by label Amellis Records (Tratore's distribution).

In 2012, Babalu founded the instrumental power trio BETAGROOVEBAND, with Marina Abramowicz on drums and PV Ribeiro on bass. [3]

Agostinho dos Santos

Agostinho dos Santos was a Brazilian singer and composer of bossa nova, MPB and rock and roll, active from the early 1950s until his premature death in an airplane accident in 1973. Dos Santos is best known today for lending his voice to the soundtrack of the classic 1959 film Orfeu Negro. He is also credited with playing a role in the development of the careers of other important Bossa Nova artists, such as João Gilberto and Milton Nascimento. Dos Santos' voice was a baritone with bright coloring and a light vibrato, singing in a style called "crooner da orchestra".

Rosa de Saron is a Brazilian rock band with Christian themes formed within the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement in 1988, in the city of Campinas, known for being one of the forerunners of Christian metal in Brazil. Currently, the band consists of Bruno Faglioni (vocals), Eduardo Faro (guitar), Rogério Feltrin (bass), and Wellington Greve (drums). Their first album, Diante da Cruz, was released in 1994; whereas in 1997, they released Angústia Suprema. In 1999, the band recorded Olhando de Frente, their third studio effort. In 2002, after a change of vocalists, Rosa de Saron launched the album Depois do Inverno. Their next record, Casa dos Espelhos, came out in 2005, and in 2007, they put out Acoustic CD.

Acústico MTV is the first live album by Brazilian alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr., released both in CD and DVD formats on September 20, 2003 through EMI as part of now-defunct MTV Brasil's Acústico MTV series – the Brazilian equivalent of MTV Unplugged. It was recorded at the Teatro Mars in São Paulo from August 5–6, 2003, in a lavish set decorated as the nave of a Gothic church.
