Antonio C. Gilbert (born October 16, 1979) is an American football coach and former linebacker who is the inside linebackers coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach at the University of Central Florida, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, John Milledge Academy, Auburn University and the University of Georgia.
Gilbert played college football at Georgia and was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Playing for eight seasons in the NFL, Gilbert has played for the Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons.
As a senior at the University of Georgia (UGA), he earned All-Southeastern Conference second-team honors and started every game at middle linebacker. He tied for the team lead with a career-high 114 tackles and recorded 2.5 sacks, 15 stops for losses, 13 quarterback pressures, 1 forced fumble and deflected 2 passes. Member of Zeta Nu chapter of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity at the University of Georgia.
Gilbert was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2003 NFL Draft. [1] His two sons, Jacobi and Amir, were born the same year.
He was signed off the Cardinals practice squad in 2003 by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played five seasons with the Jaguars before being released during final cuts on August 30, 2008.
Two days after his release from the Jaguars, Gilbert was signed by the Atlanta Falcons on September 1, 2008. The move reunited him with Falcons head coach Mike Smith, who was defensive coordinator for the Jaguars during Gilbert's time in Jacksonville. The Falcons released linebacker Tony Taylor to make room for Gilbert on the roster.
On December 8, Gilbert was placed on Injured Reserve due to a hamstring injury. An unrestricted free agent in the 2009 offseason, Gilbert was re-signed by the Falcons on February 27.
On August 8, 2010, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Gilbert and two other players. [2] On September 4, 2010, Gilbert was released.
Gilbert began his coaching career at the University of Georgia, his alma mater, as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2011.
In 2012, Gilbert joined Auburn University as a defensive graduate assistant and assistant linebackers coach.
In 2013, Gilbert was hired by Georgia Military College as their Assistant defensive backs & linebackers coach.
In 2014, Gilbert joined John Milledge Academy as their defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.
In 2015, Gilbert joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a defensive quality control specialist & assistant linebackers coach.
In 2018, Gilbert was hired as a defensive quality control coach at the University of Central Florida (UCF).
On June 12, 2020, Gilbert was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars as their assistant linebackers coach under head coach Doug Marrone. [3]
On February 11, 2021, Gilbert was retained by the Jaguars under head coach Urban Meyer.
On February 17, 2022, Gilbert was retained under new head coach Doug Pederson. [4]
Byron Antron Leftwich is an American former football coach and quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 10 seasons. He played college football for the Marshall Thundering Herd, twice receiving MAC Most Valuable Player honors. He was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the seventh overall pick of the 2003 NFL Draft. Leftwich held a starting role with the Jaguars during his first four seasons and spent the remainder of his career as a backup for the Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the Steelers, he was a member of the team that won Super Bowl XLIII.
Brentson André Buckner is an American football coach and former defensive tackle who is the defensive line coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach for the Arizona Cardinals, Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Steelers.

He previously worked as an assistant coach for the Chicago Bears, New York Giants, Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals.
Rodriques "Rod" Wilson is a former American football linebacker and coach who is a defensive assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs. He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at South Carolina. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and briefly for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has also coached at Charleston Southern University.
Marco Darnell Coleman is an American football coach and former player who is the defensive line coach for Georgia Tech and former assistant defensive line coach for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). A former American football defensive end, the fourteen-year veteran originally was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 1992 NFL Draft as a first round pick. He played at Georgia Tech and won the 1990 college football national championship and went to one Pro Bowl before retiring from professional football after the 2005 season.
Mike Smith is a former American football coach. He is a former head coach of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons, a position he held from 2008 to 2014. He previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars between 2003 and 2007. During his tenure as the head coach of the Falcons, Smith became the franchise's winningest head coach by number of wins in addition to being the recipient of the 2008 NFL Coach of the Year Award by the Associated Press and was also voted NFL Coach of the Year Award by the Sporting News in 2008, 2010 and 2012.
Brian VanGorder is an American football coach and former player. He was the defensive coordinator at Bowling Green State University, a position he assumed in 2019. Prior to that, he was defensive coordinator at the University of Louisville. He served as the head football coach at Wayne State University from 1992 to 1994, and Georgia Southern University in 2006, compiling a career college football record of 19–25. VanGorder was the defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) from 2008 to 2011, and also worked in the same capacity for the University of Georgia (2001–2004) and Auburn University (2012). VanGorder is married to the former Ruth Jones. His children are Molloy, Morgan, Mack, Montgomery, Malone.

Myles David Jack is an American football linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the UCLA Bruins and was named the top freshman player in the Pac-12, receiving honors both on defense as well as on offense for his work as a running back and was named an All-Pac-12 linebacker twice. In 2015, Jack dropped out of UCLA and declared for the draft after suffering a season-ending knee injury. Jack was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
