The Topeka Performing Arts Center is a 2,425-capacity performing arts center located in Topeka, Kansas. Opened in 1939, it was built in the Art Deco style and was renovated in 1991, and reopened that same year officially named the Topeka Performing Arts Center. It has hosted notable entertainers, such as Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Beach Boys, Ann & Nancy Wilson, Willie Nelson, Olivia Newton-John and Merle Haggard. [1]
Topeka is the capital city of the U.S. state of Kansas and the seat of Shawnee County. It is along the Kansas River in the central part of Shawnee County, in northeast Kansas, in the Central United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 126,587. The Topeka metropolitan statistical area, which includes Shawnee, Jackson, Jefferson, Osage, and Wabaunsee Counties, had a population of 233,870 in the 2010 census.
For many decades, Kansas has had a vibrant country and bluegrass scene. The Country Stampede Music Festival – one of the largest music festivals in the country – and the bluegrass/acoustic Walnut Valley Festival are testament to the continued popularity of these music genres in the state. The Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall is a historic theater building and performing arts center in Portland, Oregon, United States. The Stormont Vail Events Center, formerly known as Kansas Expocentre, is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena built in 1987 in Topeka, Kansas. Beginning in 2022, it will be home to the Topeka Tropics of Champions Indoor Football. Previously, the Topeka Sizzlers of the Continental Basketball Association, Topeka Tarantulas, Topeka ScareCrows, and Topeka Pilots ice hockey teams played there. Sunrise Musical Theater was a performing arts center located in Sunrise, Florida. It opened in 1976 hosting concerts and processions. The seating capacity of the theater was 3,732. The theater had an "unofficial" opening on December 27, 1976. The first event was a performance of the play "Pinocchio" featuring part of the cast of the Kay Rockefeller Children's Theater in New York. Bobby Vinton officially opened the theater on December 29, 1976. Notable past performers include Tori Amos, Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross, Liberace, Tears For Fears, Eartha Kitt, Engelbert Humperdinck, Barry Manilow, Sheena Easton, The Beach Boys, Frank Zappa, James Taylor, Carole King, Chicago, Allman Brothers, King Crimson, Molly Hatchet, Sharon, Lois & Bram, Phish, Beastie Boys, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Outlaws, Simply Red, Olivia Newton-John, Ozzy Osbourne with Randy Rhoads twice and Black Sabbath. In 2002 Faith Center Ministries made the facility their home of worship.
The 5 ½ Weeks Tour was a co-headlined concert tour by singer-songwriters Alanis Morissette and Tori Amos. The tour promoted Morissette's album Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie and Amos's album To Venus and Back.
The Crushin' It World Tour was the tenth headlining concert tour by American country music singer Brad Paisley and is in support of his tenth studio album Moonshine in the Trunk (2014). It began on May 15, 2015, in Camden, New Jersey and finished on March 12, 2016, in Bloomington, Illinois. The tour played through amphitheaters and festivals across the United States and Canada.
Josh Groban on Stage is a concert tour by American singer Josh Groban. Launched in support of his 2015 show tunes album Stages, the tour featured a night of Broadway songs and originals later on. The tour was announced on April 16, 2015, with dates running September 12-November 3, 2015 and tickets going on sale April 24. However, Groban was sick for part of the tour so the first leg ended on December 21, 2015.

The Community Arts Center is a 2,078-seat performing arts center located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, next to the Genetti Hotel. Originally a movie palace, it opened in 1928 as the Capitol Theatre. It reopened after restoration in 1993 as the Community Arts Center. The Community Arts Center has hosted entertainers such as Grand Funk Railroad, The Beach Boys, Jay Leno, Kansas, Lou Gramm, Styx, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Ted Nugent.
