The Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) is a Canadian orchestra based in Toronto, Ontario. The ensemble was formed in 1989 by members of the CJRT Orchestra after that orchestra disbanded. [1] The Toronto Philharmonic Chorus was formed under conductor Giles Bryant in 1990. The orchestra is now disbanded.

A previous orchestra with the name the Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra was active during the 1940s and 1950s. That orchestra was founded as the Promenade Symphony Orchestra in 1934, changing its name to the TPO in 1940. It disbanded in 1956.

The Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) is an amateur orchestra in Singapore, initiated as a project by Maestro Lim Yau in 1998. The orchestra consists of adults who have a keen and serious interest to perform music. Formerly known as the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Society (PCOS), the group became The Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) to better reflect its intention to perform both symphonic and chamber works.

The Bach-Elgar Choir is a community chorus of long standing in Hamilton, Ontario, currently directed by Alexander Cann. The Choir is composed of accomplished amateur singers from Hamilton and the neighbouring cities of Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga and Simcoe. Notable performances by the ensemble include the North American première of Verdi's Requiem and the Canadian premieres of Górecki's Miserere and Mahler's Symphony No. 2. The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra (JPO) is Johannesburg's leading Philharmonic Orchestra. The chair of the Board of Directors is Mr Justice Dikgang Moseneke, and the CEO and Artistic Director is Bongani Tembe. Tembe was appointed in 2015. He combines this with his role as Artistic Director of the Kwazulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra.
