Travis David Wilson (born 10 July 1977) was a former member of the Black Sox, New Zealand's national softball. He first played for the Black Sox in 1994 and was an integral part of their ISF Men's World Championship winning team in Midland, Michigan in 1996. Wilson is the current assistant softball coach for the Florida State Softball Team. He has been the hitting coach since the 2012 season. The Florida State Softball Team has won 8 ACC titles and has made 5 trips to the Women's College World Series (2014, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2023) in his time. Florida State has played in three championship series in 2018, 2021, 2023. They were the 2018 National Champions.
Wilson was scouted by the Atlanta Braves where he played for seven seasons, most of which were spent at the Triple-A level. He was a multiple Minor League All-Star and was put on the Braves 40-man roster after leading the Arizona Fall League in hitting in 2001. Wilson finished his baseball career in 2004 with a season in the Cincinnati Reds farm system.
From 2002 through 2004, Wilson also played three seasons of winter ball for the Tiburones de La Guaira and Leones del Caracas clubs of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League. [1]
In 2005 Wilson returned to New Zealand where he worked for three years with the New Zealand national cricket team as their Specialist Fielding Coach and Video Analyst. He is currently an assistant coach for the Florida State University Seminoles Softball team.
In 2022, Wilson was inducted into the International Softball Congress Hall of Fame.
Brett Morgan Butler is an American former center fielder in Major League Baseball and coach. He played for five different teams from 1981 through 1997. A leadoff hitter for the majority of his career, Butler led the league in triples and runs scored twice each and was named a National League All-Star in 1991. He was diagnosed with cancer in May 1996, received treatment and returned to the playing field four months later. He retired in 1997 and began a baseball coaching career. He has coached or managed numerous professional teams. He was the manager of the Reno Aces minor league team from late 2008 through 2013.
William Richard Mueller is an American former professional baseball third baseman who played in Major League Baseball (MLB). Mueller's MLB playing career was spent with the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs (2001–2002), Boston Red Sox (2003–2005), and Los Angeles Dodgers (2006). He now serves as the quality control coordinator for the Washington Nationals.
Richard Leo Gedman is an American professional baseball coach and former catcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox (1980–1990), Houston Astros (1990–1991), and St. Louis Cardinals (1991–1992). He currently serves as hitting coach with the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox of the International League. Listed at 6 feet 0 inches (1.83 m) and 210 pounds (95 kg), he batted left-handed and threw right-handed.
Bruce Vee Hurst is an American former Major League Baseball left-handed starting pitcher. He is best remembered for his performance for the Boston Red Sox in the 1986 postseason, where he won two games while allowing only two runs total. Prior to the miraculous Game 6 comeback by the New York Mets, he was the presumed World Series MVP. Two days later, in Game 7, Hurst was sent out to pitch the decisive game for the Sox, but he left with a no-decision when Boston saw a three run lead turn into a tie in the sixth with Hurst on the mound ; Hurst pitched a total of 23 innings, most among any pitcher in the Series and allowed five earned runs.
Michael Lewis Greenwell is an American former left fielder in Major League Baseball (MLB) who played his entire MLB career with the Boston Red Sox (1985–1996). He played seven games for the Hanshin Tigers in Japan (1997), before retiring. Greenwell was nicknamed "The Gator". He batted left-handed and threw right-handed. He was fourth in Rookie of the Year voting in 1987. Greenwell was a leading contender for the American League MVP award in 1988, but lost to Jose Canseco, who had the first 40 home run, 40 stolen base season in baseball history. Greenwell hit .325 with 22 home runs and 119 RBIs in 1988, setting career highs in all three categories.

Mark Steven Kotsay is an American professional baseball manager and former outfielder. He is the manager for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). As a player, Kotsay appeared in 1,914 MLB games for the San Diego Padres, Florida Marlins, Athletics, Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, and Milwaukee Brewers. He coached for the Padres and Athletics before becoming manager of Oakland for the 2022 season.

As a player, he was listed at 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 m) and 165 pounds (75 kg); he batted left-handed and threw right-handed. Goodwin has coached in MLB for the New York Mets and Boston Red Sox.

He never appeared in more than 84 games in any season during his playing career. In the final game of the 1984 World Series, Kuntz hit a pop fly to the second baseman that became the deciding run batted in (RBI).
