Trevor John Linden is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and former president of hockey operations and alternate governor of the Vancouver Canucks. He spent 19 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL), playing centre and right wing with four teams: the Vancouver Canucks, New York Islanders, Montreal Canadiens and Washington Capitals. Before joining the NHL in 1988, Linden helped the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League (WHL) win consecutive Memorial Cup championships. In addition to appearing in two NHL All-Star Games, Linden was a member of the 1998 Canadian Olympic team and participated in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey.

Jerry Darnell Stackhouse is an American basketball coach and former professional player who is the head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores men's team. He played 18 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and was a two-time NBA All-Star. He formerly was the head coach of Raptors 905 and an assistant coach for the Toronto Raptors and Memphis Grizzlies. Additionally, he has worked as an NBA TV analyst. Stackhouse played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels.
William Laimbeer Jr. is an American professional basketball coach and former player who spent the majority of his career with the Detroit Pistons. Known for his physical style of play, he played a big part in the Pistons earning the nickname the “Bad Boys" in the mid-1980s before helping them win back to back NBA championships.

He played college football with the Kentucky Wildcats. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round of the 1988 NFL Draft and spent his entire pro career with the team and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012.
Gary Bruce Williams is an American university administrator and former college basketball coach. He served as the head coach at the University of Maryland, the Ohio State University, Boston College, and American University. In 2002, he led Maryland to win the NCAA tournament championship. Williams retired after the 2010–11 season.
Todd Michael Williams is an American former professional baseball relief pitcher. He attended East Syracuse-Minoa High School graduating in 1989. He then attended Onondaga Community College before signing a professional baseball contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers of the Major League Baseball (MLB) in 1991. Over the course of his professional career Williams played for 10 different organizations, including all or parts of eight seasons in the Major Leagues. He is a retired 18-year professional baseball player, with eight years of Major League Baseball experience. Williams was also a member of the USA Baseball team three separate years, with the highlight of winning a Gold Medal in the 2000 Summer Olympics held in Sydney, Australia.
Thomas Michael Izzo ; born January 30, 1955) is an American college basketball coach who has been the head coach at Michigan State University since 1995. On April 4, 2016, Izzo was elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
Frank Lowell Williams is an American former professional basketball player. As a point guard, Williams was drafted out of the University of Illinois with the 25th overall pick in the 2002 NBA draft by the Denver Nuggets.
Craig Lee Ludwig is an American former professional hockey player. He played as a defenceman in the National Hockey League from 1982 to 1999 and was renowned for his shot-blocking ability. Ludwig was the color analyst for the Dallas Stars television and radio broadcasts for two seasons from 2016 to 2018.
Wayne Yearwood is a Canadian former professional and Olympic basketball player, who was with the Canadian national team. Born in Montreal, Quebec, he played for Team Canada at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, along with his friend and teammate Dwight Walton, and played seven years with the Canadian national team along with Steve Nash for several years, and eight years playing professionally in Europe. Yearwood played college basketball at Dawson College, with friends and teammates Dwight Walton and Trevor C. Williams. In the United States, he played NCAA Division I college basketball at West Virginia University. He played two years in Greek Basket League with the colors of Panathinaikos and Apollon Patras. End of the '90 he played in Switzerland for Vevey Basket and Genève Versoix Basket. Yearwood also played football as a wide receiver for West Virginia and was selected by the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League in the 2nd round of the 1988 CFL Draft.
Dwight Walton is a former basketball player from Canada, who played at Dawson College in Montreal with teammates Trevor C. Williams, Wayne Yearwood and Boyd Bailey. He later would go on to join the Canadian National Team. Before Dawson college, Dwight Walton play basketball at Wagar High School in Côte Saint-Luc, Quebec. After starring at Dawson College and receiving All-Canadian honours he went on to become an All-American at the Florida Institute of Technology (1991), an NCAA Division II basketball program, after starring at NCAA Division I Siena College.
Lewis Edward Hayman was an American sports figure. He was one of the driving forces behind the Canadian Football League as coach, general manager, team president, and league president. As head coach, he was a five-time Grey Cup winner with three different teams. Hayman was a pioneer in bringing African Americans into the CFL, hiring one of professional football's first Black players, Herb Trawick, and coach Willie Wood. He was inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.

Following his playing career, he was the head basketball coach at Arizona State for the 1997–98 season, and Sacramento State from 1992 to 1997. He also was an assistant coach in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets, San Antonio Spurs, and Washington Wizards.
David Joseph is a Canadian basketball coach. He most recently served as an assistant coach at Centennial College. A former college player, Joseph was named Canadian College Player of the Year and won a CCAA national championship in 1982, playing for the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. He has nearly 30 years of coaching experience at the high school, college, and professional levels.
Olga Hrycak is a Canadian former basketball player and basketball university coach. She was a provincial championship winning coach for the Champlain College Saint-Lambert Cavaliers men's team in 1981, and worked on the staff of the Canada national men's team from 1984 to 1987, firstly as an apprentice coach and then as assistant coach. Hrycak went on to coach the Dawson College Blues to a Canadian collegiate record nine provincial men's basketball titles between 1988 and 2003. She became the first female men's university basketball coach in either Canada or the United States when she was made the first coach of the UQAM Citadins men's basketball squad. Hrycak coached the team from 2006 to 2010 Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) provincial titles before retiring from in 2015. She is a two-time CCAA Men's Basketball Coach of the Year and is an inductee of both the Canada Basketball Hall of Fame and the CCAA Hall of Fame. Inducted into the Quebec Sports Hall of Fame November 2022.
Frank Sowinski is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Princeton Tigers and was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Year as a junior in 1977. Sowinski played professionally in Europe before he returned to the United States and embarked on a business career.
