Treyton Joseph White (born May 25, 2004) is an American football defensive end for the San Diego State Aztecs.

Early life and high school

White attended Eastlake High School located in Chula Vista, California. Coming out of high school, White was rated as a two-star recruit, where he committed to play college football for the San Diego State Aztecs, over other schools Air Force, Arizona, Army, Cal Poly and Northern Arizona. [1] [2]

College career

During White's first two seasons in 2022 and 2023, he appeared in 15 games where he notched 16 tackles with two being for a loss, a pass deflection, an interception, and a fumble recovery. [3] [4] [5] Heading into the 2024 season, White was named one of the team captains for the Aztecs. [6] In week six of the 2024 season, White was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week after notching four tackles for loss, and three sacks, as he helped the Aztecs to a win over the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. [7] Mid-Way through the 2024 season, White was named to the Bednarik Award Watch List after leading the nation in sack's through the first half of the year. [8]
